We had such a great experience. My daughter is not the biggest fan of the dentist, but she was so happy after her appointment and she was so proud of how she did. The dental team was even nice enough to stay with her when she was scared of the x-rays. We are happy that all of our family is treated here and we are excited to go back.

I've been going to Pacific Family Dental for the last 6 or 7 years. My teeth have never been happier. All of the staff are welcoming and friendly. Amy, my hygienist, is like an old friend. Dr. Watanabe is compassionate and kind. You know it's good when your kids ask when their next appointment is because they want to go, too.

Brought in my 3 kids for a triple whammy today. We were in an out in about an hour for all 3 kids exams. Staff is always professional and courteous every time we go there. Total family care here with the wife, three kids, and myself all happy patients. Cleanings, fillings, exams are all done here. When one of my daughters got anxious today (she’s extremely hypersensitive) about sitting in the chair the Dr literally got down on his knees eye level with her and calmed her enough to let him do his exam. all while kneeling and my daughter stood. An unorthodox approach and it totally worked.
P.S. If your kids need major work which will involve them being unhappy then get referred to another office. Keeps the kids associating his office as the fun dentist appointment with treasure chest at the end of treatment....then the negative dental experience is associated to a different dentist. Genius approach that works with my kids.

I have been here twice. The parking is difficult but they have recommendations if both patient parking spots are taken. The dentist himself is incredibly friendly, helpful and easy going. The hygenist I had today was very kind and quiet, which I prefer. The only small complaint is both times I've walked in, the person right at the front on the computer (hygienist both times I think) is too busy to greet me or address me right away. I find myself waiting awkwardly for a minute or two just standing and waiting for them to stop looking at the computer and look at me or say something. Even a "welcome. we'll be right with you," is fine. I guess I like to be acknowledged. For a dentist's office with such high ratings as this one, I expect more polite customer service.

Amazing doc and staff! I'm so very thankful to have Dr. W as my dentist; from check ups and cleanings to a recent filling I practically slept through, I couldn't be happier finding a phenomenal dentist in HNL. Staff is friendly, helpful, educational, and prompt....they were even able to get me in on a same day (in 20 minutes from my call) for minor emergency. Simply outstanding!

Every time I have visited it has been a pleasant experience! All of the staff are extremely nice, caring and make you feel very comfortable and welcomed from the second you walk in. My teeth always feel amazing after a good cleaning. If you are looking for a dentist I would highly recommend them!

I never have a hard time taking my 6yr. old daughter for her dental check up. Dr. Mark and "Aunty Amy" take such good care of her, she enjoys going in. We did not have to wait past our appointment time, and it was quick and painless. See you in 6 months! Thank you. - Kyle

This was the best dental place I have been to in my life. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They found issues many of my previous dentist either overlooked or just didn't care to look into. They made me feel taken care of and 10/10 would be returning and recommend to others.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my 7 year old. She's sort of dental work shy and has issues with the extra stuff in her mouth during an exam. They are so understanding at this facility. The staff takes extra time to make sure she is ready and they are so encouraging to her. As her mom I appreciate that because they are setting the groundwork for her to have a lifetime of dental care with no fear. Thank you PFD!

Dr. Watanabe and staff are the absolute kindest and respectful dentistry in all of Honolulu. One of the regrets my daughter had in having to move from the Islands is not having Denise clean her teeth. They are the best...end of story!
