I was the first patient of the day meant to start at 8, dentist walking in just before 8:30, extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate. The receptionist mentioned that he is often late so this is apparently nothing new. He also did not properly clean my teeth and left so much tartar on my teeth. When I pointed this out, he tried to play it off as if it was my tooth, Clearly not tooth colored and I was even able to do some myself at home. Because it’s not my tooth! I was also repeatedly stabbed in the gums while he attempted to clean. I’ve never had a more painful and sloppy cleaning.

Absolutely disappointed! I read the reviews and figured I’d still give them the benefit of a doubt since they were the closest dentist that accepted my insurance plan as it’s a dhmo. Dr. Conomikes is evetremely condescending and has no bed side manors. Was very rude going over my X-rays and even made me feel bad that I needed to have work done. He doesn’t do any root canals and sends everything out which is also inconvience as he refers to specialists that don’t even accept the same Dentail insurance plans they do. Horrible experience and I highly recommend you go somewhere else that doesn’t treat people so poorly!

I had to wait 3 months to get appointments for my husband and I to establish as new patients. In the meantime my employer changed insurances. I confirmed that this office accepted the new plan. I was provided a temporary card. When I arrived to my appointment I presented my temp card and was turned away because I wasn't on their printed roster. They refused to even verify coverage, which only takes a single phone call. We each had 1 hour appointments so that would have given them sufficient amount of time. I work for a doctor's office so I know how this all works. Their lack of concern for the fact that my husband has a possible abscess just proves to me that this is not the office for us.

I have been in there 4 times and they still have not fixed my teeth. They kept trying to get me to go to an oral surgeon for a bridge when all I wanted was a tooth pulled. Now I have extreme pain and they can't see me for 2 days. If they would have just pulled this tooth 6 months ago I'd be fine.

Having recently moved to the area, I was in need of a new dentist. I decided to give Lake Hills Dentistry a try. I am sorry I ever did. They conveniently don't send you a reminder for an appointment (I have never had any doctor or dentist who failed to send a courtesy reminder), then hit you up for $60 for a missed appointment. In addition, their fees are exorbitantly high when compared to other dentists in the area. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere when in the need for a new dentist.

My mom went in for a deep cleaning. Now she has a very big bruise on her left cheek for 2 weeks now. Dr. Conomikes was always nice to me, but he can sometimes be very rude, especially to my mom. He told my mom she probably did something wrong to get that bruise. My mom says she felt swelling in her cheek right after the cleaning. Conomikes os os extrem careless. We will be going to another dentist soon.

Let me first say that I cannot leave a review without at least giving 1 star, but they deserve 0 stars.
Worst experience EVER. The most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. I paid up front for dental services that were to be completed in two sessions. They required half to be paid at first appointment and the remainder to be paid at the completion appointment. No problem, like I said I paid in full at the first appointment; around $700.
On the second appointment, the dentist decided to complete different work (work that was not scheduled, work that was not paid for). There was a decent amount of work that was needing to be done but it was decided to tackle the least expensive things first. This was discussed with the dentist, as well as Kathy the office manager. For whatever reason, Dr. Conimikes decided to begin the most expensive round of work, failing to mention he would be doing that, and then at the end of the appointment we were told we owed $1,800!!! They applied the remainder from the 1st appointment to this appointment (around $546) and now we owed $1800 for work that we never even asked for, or scheduled. Imagine my surprise.... and anger.
After attempting to rectify this situation with Lake Hills Dentistry, they were ZERO help. For a month they kept saying that “corporate” was handling it, but they refused to give up any information about this corporation. Kathy hung up on me several times and even started screening my calls (I believe), because then they just stopped answering the phone. After research, I contacted corporate myself. They agreed to refund me $422. Not the $546, and for that I am still angry. My husband also had to sign a release form to be able to get this money back and basically give up all liability of the dentist - even though my husband has a hole in his mouth for this work that never should have been started to begin with. I’ve tried to reach the CEO, and he hides behind his email refusing to call me back after my voicemails. This company is sketchy. We went to pick up the check and the building we had to go to was REALLY creepy. I put my phone on record for fear I may not make it out alive. Things don’t usually freak me out, but this entire experience going there was just weird.
Stay away from this place if you want to feel confident in your dentist and their office. He doesn’t even have a hygienist or assistant and his bedside manner is horrible. They’re unprofessional, to say the least.
One other thing of how off the wall and not in reality they are - before all of the above, i called to see if they see children, specifically asked about my 2 year old and I was told yes. I made the appointment, gave all her info and even bday of course. The appointment day comes, i take off work to bring her in and Kathy (the SAME woman who told me they see 2 year olds) tells me that they don’t see kids under 5. Are u serious? Why did u schedule us then when i specifically asked about 2 year olds? Why couldn’t u call me to tell me this? Why wait til I'm IN FRONT of you?? It’s like I was dealing with a space cadet from that moment on.
We’ve since found an amazing dentist and are very happy to not be dealing with Lake Hills Dentistry any more.

Wish I could give zero stars!! He broke a tooth then wanted me to wait almost 2 months to fix it!! Maybe if he used an assistant instead of having the patients do suction there wouldn’t have been an issue, but not fixing what you mess up? Unprofessional and inexcusable!! Avoid at all costs...or it will cost you!! It cost me $900 to fix what he messed up 👎👎👎👎

I would like to say that I really appreciated the work of Dr. Conomikes. He did a crown for me. He walked me through the process and made me comfortable. I feel like my own tooth is back.
