Made an appointment online. I called to make sure they took my insurance (it said on their website at the time that they did, but I was just making sure) and if they received my new patient form from the online portal and they said yes on the phone. Four months later, I show up to my appointment for them to tell me there wasn't one in their system. I showed them my confirmation email and they said that they don't have control over their online appointments and they don't take my insurance....even though I called and asked them about both. They also said this situation has happened several times to other people. They were very friendly, but I just don't understand how after FOUR MONTHS no one caught this. Now, I have to start the dentist appointment wait somewhere else because Scottsburg Family Dentistry took four months away from me.

So, today I got my very back top right tooth removed. I was really nervous that I was going to be in so much pain when they pulled the tooth. Thanks to insurance I was able to get it removed. Would I have loved to keep it, yes, but $1100 to put a cap on one tooth that wasn't full tooth is a no go. Love the friendly and helpful staff. Thank you
Had my second difficult tooth removed on the bottom back right. Wish it was cheaper to repair the teeth than to remove them. They do an awesome job of making sure you don't go through a painful removal.
My daughter and nephew both love going to the dentist. They didn't always feel that way before they started going to Scottsburg Family Dentistry. Thank you all for being awesome at your jobs.
