I’m not a fan of going to the dentist, but the staff at Baxter Springs Family Dentistry were so friendly and reassuring. Dr. Willis was laid-back and nice. I knew it had been awhile since I had been to the dentist and I was afraid I might have cavities. Stacey, the hygienist, was very gentle, took her time cleaning my teeth, and explained everything she was doing while she was doing it. I know I’m not the best about flossing, but I didn’t feel like she was judgmental at all. Dr. Willis came in and did an exam and sure enough, I had a few cavities. He offered to fix my teeth the same day so I didn’t have to make another trip, which I though was super nice. I’m a big baby when it comes to needles and getting shots, but the doctor was very gentle and comforting. I had 3 fillings done on my front teeth and I can’t even tell where they are! I was really dreading my appointment but I’m glad I went and I’m glad my teeth are fixed. Definitely recommend this office if you have any anxiety or fear of going to the dentist, they will help you feel calm.

I had my 2nd visit today; to start a crown on tooth i cracked.
I just wanted to add this special note* This dentist; Dr. Willis;
is more than just an angel in my eyes. I have had 50 yrs of experinece w/dentists bc of my tmj (which at that time no one has ever heard of). So, I (thought) knew what to expect from a dentist. Up to now; Dr willis is a beauty of a doctor; he walked me thru what he was doing (which i know he didn't have to); I can see his gift of dentistry is all from God Almighty bc he done work on me with ease. He is kind, has empathy, understanding and communicates well. His staff is just as beautiful n kind as Dr. Willis is. He is doing a beautiful job on the bottom tooth i broke. I am so overwhelmed bc today happens to be my b'day and unbeknowns to me when it was all done, i was at window s/w clerk and the girl came up along side of me n said "Debbie Happy b'day" and handed me this beautiful n heavy gift bag. I thought I was going to take a heart attack and cry. In it was an electric fragrance warmer, with not one but 2 warmer cubes to put in it, dove chocolates, life savers, beautiful pink cup, cookie foot, and the most beautiful bday card where everyone singed it including the dr. and i don't even work there!! I almost cried, but had to refrain from doing so; bc i was raised you never cry in front of anyone; you go home and cry behind closed doors. And, so i did, as soon as i got home n shared what these beautiful people gave me with my boys. (cats=) ). This was the most beautiful and unexpected b'day I ever had!!! Bc last week i lost my 14k ring; when i came out of my house God had it laying on ground next to my back step. Thank you Jesus for finding a wonderful dentist office to go to, finally!! Nice place. Dr Willis n Kim were very nice and communicated well with me. I like there gold plan. Girls at desk were kind as well. They called me in way earlier than my appt due to someone canceling. I appreciated that very much. This was my first appt and so far i feel safe n comfortable going there. P.s. As soon as I got home i used my electric fragrance warmer. see pic (which I never had one). Thank you again for EVERYTHING!
