First Dental

I went in for a tooth extraction. They used gas and needles to numb but they did it wrong. I have had plenty of teeth extracted before and I was expecting a droopy face and slurred speech. Never happened. I even had gas and couldn't tell anything was different. I reached back with my finger and discovered the tooth was not numb. They began the extraction and it was agony. They tried 3 times and I begged them to stop so they referred me to Garden City. Never again. Do not go here. They have no clue what they are doing. Worst 700 bucks of my life. I've never had nitrous but I'm pretty sure it was just air.

I love my dental hygienist Jenna! Definitely the best I've ever had. My kids and I feel so comfortable. She is very attentive and answers all of our questions. Even my youngest that hated getting his teeth cleaned has grown to be relaxed and calm.

Receptionist was extremely rude jumped on me about insurance without even getting two steps inside the door. Was extremely rude when I told her I wasn’t sure but my wife carried the insurance after looking it up she gave me a smug face and a sigh and said we found it all snotty like use to love this place but never been treated this bad here before. Step up the game probably going to be looking for another place unfortunately. Known Ryan for years and he is and excellent dentist unfortunately the staff not so much. Felt severely disrespected the moment I walked in.

The Dentists and Assistants at First Dental are all 5-Star Professionals. I have a horrible fear of dental work based on traumatic experiences I had as a child. Dr. Lehmkuhler, his fellow Dr's and staff have always made sure I'm comfortable when I come in and have been helping me overcome this anxiety and I go in for visits knowing I'll be taken care of. I'm truly Thankful for all of them.

Very detailed in their dental knowledge, but very expensive. I just wanted my teeth cleaned, but they told me before they call in a hygienist to clean my teeth they wanted X-rays and then told me I needed $14,000 worth of dental work before I can get my teeth cleaned. I am on disability so this doesn't work for me.
I was very happy to know of my options on my teeth.

Had a tooth emergency, got me right in. I've been there several times and have always had a good experience. From the front desk staff, hygenist, to the dentist...they are nothing less than friendly, professional and made a high anxiety situation much easier.

Go anywhere but here. Would not even re attach a crown -was told that I'm required to have $6000+ of dental work done instead. 5-31-22. Doc Holiday likely had a better approach with his patients. Desk receptionist apparently owns the place now. 0 stars. Go anywhere else.

The entire staff is friendly and helpful. They go the extra mile to help with everything possible. They use the most modern methods and their work is amazing. I was a person who was very anxious about going to the dentist. At First Dental I used the mild sedation treatment and was able to get a massive amount of excellent dental work completed with no pain and no anxiety. When I go to any business I like it when the employees are friendly and professional with me but also when they are friendly and respectful to each other. The people at First Dental are always friendly and respectful to each other and they seem to be happy and love what they are doing. That means a lot to me. I give First Dental my highest recommendation!

First Dental is the Best! For years, I had a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist. When I moved to Dodge City, First Dental was recommended to me by my boss. I could not be happier and more thankful. The entire staff is very friendly and professional. They always seem to be happy and enjoying what they do. That is important to me. They have gone the extra mile to work with me and my insurance companies in order to get me the treatment I need. Before First Dental, the thought of going to the dentist made me a nervous wreck. Dr. Lehmkuhler and his staff do an amazing job of providing a relaxing positive atmosphere AND even after extensive dental work, I have experienced very little discomfort. They use the latest and most modern techniques and do an amazing job. I never feel rushed and they always go out of their way to invite and answer questions and explain my treatments. I am thankful to have found First Dental and I give them my highest recommendation. Along with being the best dentists, they are all very kind and caring people.
