Family & Implant Dentistry

My spouse found this practice over a decade ago after moving from KC and enduring another local Dentist’s indifferent & unethical treatment.
“Family & Implant Dentistry” says everything in its’ name. They’re a relatively large practice with family feel & yet professional in all aspects r.e. Front Desk folks, Hygienists, Dental Assistants and the Dentists. And they offer the full range of practice care and up to date technology.
Our personal experience is they are always upfront with cost and they work to do the best with insurance before they go into your pocket. However, they don’t mess with “Medicare (so-called) dental insurance” but do offer a Senior Discount. And they stand behind their work ( personal experience).
BTW they also do kids - my 2 grandchildren have no fears r/t “ going to the dentist “ so our three generations continue to trust this practice implicitly.

I've been going to Family and Implant Dentistry since 2005 and I trust them completely with my dental care. I've been treated by various dentists in the practice, including Hungerford, Walker, Snowden, and Philpot. I have recommended multiple people who have made this their dentist home and have had similar experiences to mine. Judgements are reasonable yet appropriately proactive. They explain processes using visuals or analogies to help with understanding. Work is functional and aesthetically pleasing. Staff stays on top of current practice. They're sensitive and responsive to patient concerns during treatment. I could give examples of all the above. They're also fun to interact with, making the dentist a surprisingly pleasant place to go.

This place has always treated me great. I’ve always been very nervous at the dentist and every time I go here they are so comforting and good to me. They have a great system as far as getting patients in and out in a timely matter. Very smooth and always upfront with what is not covered by insurance. I’ve enjoyed my experiences here.

I have been a patient of Family and Implant Dentistry for over a year now and can say this is the BEST office I have ever been to! You can always tell that the office as a whole, goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of and give you a pleasant experience. From the doctors, to hygienists, to assistants, all the way to the front office everyone is professional, knowledgeable, and caring. The staff does wonders at taking away dental anxiety. I have had multiple fillings, cleanings, and a crown done all by different people and have had amazing outcomes each time. The whole office has a way of making you feel like a friend, which is always nice. You will never be a stranger to this office as they welcome you with open arms. 10/10 would recommend this practice. It was my first time going to this dentist yesterday and they were amazing! I definitely recommend going to them! I appreciated so much that they talked to me about what was and was not covered under my insurance while I was sitting there so it was not a surprise at the end.

The team at Family and Implant Dentistry has been taking care of my dental needs for more than 15 years. I’ve always found the hygienists and docs to be cheerful, empathetic, professional, and honest. They’ve done great work, and on the few occasions where we’ve hit a snag, they have gone above and beyond to make things right. I have recommended them to many friends over the years and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again today.

Hands down the BEST dental experience I have ever had. I called when they first open to get a dental appointment in due to some severe pain & swelling. They got me in right away & every person I came in contact was so sweet. From the receptionist Jessie(?) that got me in to Trisha my dental assistant, to doctor Larsen, and Ashley the hygienists. They were all VERY informative about everything that was going on and ensured I was comfortable through my procedure. From here going forward, I'll recommended them to anyone & will be calling this place home for all my dental care needs.

My family and I have been patients of Family and Implant Dentistry for 15 years! We always receive superb service and love the appointment reminders. My children have never been worried or scared to see “the dentist” as the staff and doctors are always so friendly and courteous. I would recommend this dentist office to everyone in Manhattan and the surrounding areas.

I’ve been going here almost 8 years, I’ve had crowns and fillings and never had an issue! Same with my kids they don’t even need nitrous gas they feel so comfortable! They look into my issuance and give me estimates , which is a great benefit for me as a patient, they know my insurance better than me! Love how well the doctors and staff work together! It’s nice knowing they do everything in office and rarely refer patients out . If you want an office where people know you by name, and make you feel comfortable go to family and implant dentistry!
