Maenza Family Dentistry

Just had my first visit and everything went well. The whole staff were very nice and made me feel welcomed. During my cleaning I was made very comfortable and felt I was in good hands. Thank you for the awesome service 😀

I had two procedures done here: cleaning (which was fantastic) and Zoom whitening (which was not). The cleaning was great because the doctor’s bedside manner was professional. The whitening was a not so pleasant experience. The doctor and two hygienists saw my teeth and said they could be whitened. I went in for the procedure and the first off thing was the hygienist kept leaving me in the room to assist with other patients. The procedure consists of four sessions of 15 minutes, she would come in reapply the gel, turn the light back on and leave to help with a cleaning. I thought that was odd because I’m a patient as well and there were times the pain was excruciating and I couldn’t talk or get anyone’s attention. I had to flag down a random person walking down the hall to tell them. When I was done, the results were so minimal that if you blink you’d miss them. I said something to the hygienist and she said “well your teeth were white to begin with” (they weren’t, they are yellow at the top and taper down to a shade of eggshell, hence why I whitened them). But I found that to be ironic because before I got the procedure they assured me it would work but after when they saw it didn’t, the conversation shifted to “well your teeth were white.” They took a before and after picture and you honestly cannot tell which is the before or after. Nevertheless, I went home, used the take home trays the way they advised…still nothing. I contacted them and someone named Jolie was very helpful and told me she’d help me figure things out. She asked what mouthwash and toothpaste I used. When really nothing could come of it I asked to see the doctor to see what went wrong or maybe see in regard to composite building and they refused to book an appointment. They claim what I’m saying is impossible so I’ve taken multiple pictures and have verbally expressed that I have no problem seeing the doctor about it, but they will not book an appointment. Do your whitening somewhere else (make sure the place uses a visual chart to see what shade you begin with and the shade you end with because they don’t have this, they just take pictures) or research a different system (there’s also one that’s called Kor, Zoom is the whitening system that was popularized in the 2000s and other states don’t even use it anymore). It’s unfortunate because they assured me they would help and “get to the bottom of things”, but instead never did anything or had a doctor see me about it. $400 down the drain unfortunately.

Debra hygienist made me feel very very comfortable and so did the dentist herself. Had a great experience on my first time coming in and appreciated all the kindness and communication as well.

I had two chipped teeth that were getting worse. Opted to use SureSmile to straighten & fix my bite, to ultimately then fix the chipped teeth. A couple months of SureSmile trays & a couple visit to check the progress and then my final visit to fix the teeth - in less than an hour, Dr. Maenza fixed my two chip teeth & my smile is BACK!
Seriously, the best Dentist & staff around. They all jive well together, making every experience there enjoyable! Thanks Dr. Lauren, Jolie, Ashley & Tiffany - y’all are GREAT!

Dr. Maenza and her staff are always so attentive to the needs of their patients. Their ability to listen to their patients sets them apart from all other dental offices. The office environment is always pleasant.

I had a wonderful experience for my first visit, everyone was Welcoming and made you feel comfortable. The Dr./Owner came in to introduce herself and to do the final inspections of my appointment. I’m so glad I chose the Maenza Family for my Dental needs, and looking forward to a great future with my new Dentist.

Dr. Maenza and her staff are the best!! Friendly and helpful. And Sophie, my hygienist, is very gentle when cleaning my teeth.

My first experience at Maenza Family was very pleasant. I had a crown come loose and was able to make an appointment the following day. Dr. Cao cleaned up the remaining part of the tooth and reinstalled the crown. In less than an hour I was in and out.

My major dental work is over: Extraction, crowns, and dentures. They have done a magnificent job. Professionalism, efficient service, and Happy work atmosphere were the prevailing experience I had. The denture fittings and adjustment were simply superb. Let me just say this. Dr Lauren Maenza, and maybe I am bias, is a tremendously excellent dentist. I am privileged and honored to recommend to Everyone for your dental needs and service. And oh...what a marvelous staff supporting her.

Though it's relatively short time that I had dental services from them, I have nothing but the highest regards, respect, and trust.They are the epitome of what you call professional, knowledgeable, efficient and courteous services. And their staff, administrative and dental; they are very pleasant and joy to deal with. I am very impressed with how they shower you their caring attention. In fact, such warm treatments are even reflected on how they deal with you on the phone or their messages. They are very homely in their communication, be it technically dental or in regards to financial. If you are looking for excellent dental services, I highly recommend them. I have been a patient of Dr Wise for many years - probably 20 years. He and the entire staff are exceptional. I can’t imagine going anywhere else for my dental care. They are so conscientious. Also, I do not have dental insurance and have always found their fees to be reasonable. Check them out! Don’t think you will regret it!

Updating as of today, 9/14/22. Still 5 stars. Sooo sorry to hear that Dr Wise will be retiring but best wishes to him! Hoping my new experiences there will measure up to the experiences of the past 20+ years with Dr Wise.
