Vaillant Family Dental

I was in Red Wing visiting family and I had a dental emergency. Dr Vaillant and his staff were very accommodating and helpful. He made time to work on my complicated situation and along the way
fixed a few teeth that also needed attention. I was very impressed with his thorough history taking
and his attention to "getting it done right". All of his office staff were supportive.

Dr. Matt Vaillant is fabulous. Where quality of care is second to none, Dr.Matt has a great practical side. When the gold inlay his dad put in just 40 years ago came lose in a Halloween carmel, Dr. Matt was able to just cement the inlay back in without doing a whole new filling. Dr. Matt suggested we monitor the inlay (it's been fine) and only replace it if it shows problems. I'm hoping for another 40 years on that tooth. 🦷

I am absolutely the *worst* dental patient - I’m terrified to even walk in the door. It’s a deep-seated fear that I’ve dealt with for almost four decades. After moving to this area, I had to find a dental office that would tolerate my issues. This place is amazing. They’re friendly, professional, kind, and efficient. They understand and help me deal with my concerns - I don’t feel like they “put up with me”, they listened to me from the start when I explained things and they’ve been helpful and caring. All of them - not just the dentist, but the technicians, hygienists, and the office staff. They’re all wonderful.

My experience since joining Vaillant Family Dental has always been positive. The staff is friendly, competent and accommodating of my husband’s special needs with a wheelchair and walker. I highly recommend their practice.

Fantastic staff and dentist. The whole experience was great from the receptionist being helpful with insurance, to the tech being professional and friendly, and the Dr. was professional and excellent at his job. I’m a wimp when it comes to the dentist and these guys are supper great. It’s a hard task to leave someone happy after pulling a couple teeth but I can say they did an above and beyond job of keeping me comfortable. I’d recommend these guys to anyone looking for a dentist.

Very friendly office. Not many people can say they had fun at the dentist but I did! It was a pleasure to meet the staff and have a few laughs about our careers in dentistry. I'm a semi retired dental assistant so it was great! I will be going again as I am guilty off having a few issues with my beloved teeth!

My whole family has been going there for years. They have always treated us really well and I couldn't recommend them more!

Absolutely wonderful! Great service, very friendly and super informative. They were very helpful and I learned a lot. My teeth feel so clean and so much better. The entire team is amazing!

Dr. Vaillant is very good to work with, he took me in after I have not seen a dentist for 3-5 years due to anxiety and I had an urgent appointment to pull out two very painful teeth about a month ago. He did not judge nor did Tiffany (his assistant) they made me feel as calm as possible and I went back in today for the comprehensive exam and found out that I have two more abscesses and I will need a partial in the future. He will work with my anxiety and get me chewing better at the same time.

I will know what it will cost, he explained other options that would work and was not at all pushing for anything other than my comfort and health. He took a very thorough and detailed health history and very alert to changes.

I look forward to working on my chewing and dental health being in better shape and trust that he and all the wonderful staff will help me with. A shout out to Tammy as well, very friendly and easy to talk to!! Thank you everyone for your expertise!!!

The best dentist/staff. Highly recommended! Used to live here and still travel back from OR just for my dentistry work. What can I say, when you find the best you don’t go anywhere else!!
