I’ve been going to this dental office for year's and have always received wonderful care there. Dr. Harris is very thorough and a gentle dentist for the big baby patients. I would highly recommend him!

Absolutely the worst tooth extraction experience! With orthodontic background I've had 9 teeth pulled in the past. Soon after Harris began, I begged him to stop (he kept losing his grip [understandable]; he used my other teeth AND LIP as fulcrum and he angled the tooth toward my ear THREE times and I yelled in pain THREE times [it felt like he broke the bone that makes up the roof of my mouth) so I very strongly had lost faith in him and begged him to stop and he soothed me saying we 'were almost done.' Then, a while later he said, "okay! One root out; two to go.' I couldn't believe it. At the end, while the numbing injections should have still been in full force, the roof of my mouth hurt pretty bad, which scared me since I'd never experienced that before, he said Tylenol should be all I needed. Oh! And I was left with a hole in my sinus! That happens but all he did was place a collagen plug & some advice. My regular dentist said he should've put a few stitches. Now 5 days later and air is whistling through & xray shows a sinus infection. I'm also in quite a bit of pain & have missed several days of work. I will NEVER go back k & I'd never refer to him.

I have 3 boys, ages 14, 11, and 6. Our insurance recently change so we were forced to leave a dentist we love. Midwest Dental in Sullivan was recommended to us. The staff was very friendly and the ladies who cleaned their teeth were both gentle and thorough. The ladies receive a 5 star rating but the dentist himself left much to be desired. I have a bachelors degree in education but left feeling as though I am incompetent. He talked down to me and made me feel as though I am unable to take good care of their teeth. We left with future appointments to get 10 cavities fixed. He also said my oldest son needs braces. Because of this, I made an orthodontist appointment for him. The orthodontist took x-rays and seems to think he doesn’t have that many cavities and recommended we get a second opinion. I would not recommend Midwest Dental in Sullivan, MO.

Dr Harris is the best! Sydney with the breads is a keeper and the lovely nice young lady manning the phone and I think is the office manager is outstanding. The only thing I would change is on my end with my insurance so I can spend more time in the chair getting my smile back!

The entire staff are wonderful with not only myself during our visits, but even more amazing with my toddler and teenager. My toddler had such an amazing experience that I believe he will enjoy going to the dentist thanks to them.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Harris and his staff. I have been terrified of going to the dentist all my life and thank goodness I found Midwest Dental. I had never had a root canal and have always heard that they were horrible. Not just from one person but many people. I had one yesterday and it was literally pain free. It's amazing to me. The staff make you feel welcome and Dr. Harris is fantastic.

The best dental office in the Midwest without question! The dentist and his staff work very well together. They are all courteous and efficient. I am thankful for their excellent care of my teeth over the past two years :)

I was experiencing the worst tooth pain of my life... I called Midwest Dental and they worked me into their schedule right away. They were able to fix my problem that very day. The staff is very thorough and friendly and the office is very nice. I always recommend this place when people are looking for a new dentist to see.

They don't care about your comfort and well being.

The staff is nice and friendly. The facility seems clean and modern. My problem is with their concern for the patients well being.

I had to get a tooth pulled. After wrenching on the tooth for 45 minutes with a variety of pliers, it finally came out. I asked them for pills for the pain. They said no. I was told to go get some ibuprofen and take those.

When I was growing up the medical professions were about the comfort and well being of the patient. It would cost the dentist office nothing to prescribe me a day or two worth of pain pills for the tooth extraction, and I would feel like they were concerned about me and cared about my well being. If I ended up throwing the pills away because I didn't need them, I would still have a good attitude toward the dentist because he was concerned enough about me to give me some pain relief. Right now I am sitting here with my mouth really hurting. Too bad for me in the opinion of the dentist office.

So if you are OK with being told to go buy yourself some ibuprofen to deal with the pain the dentist is going to inflict on you, then this office would be fine and you will be happy. If you get upset at the idea of having to suffer for days with the pain the dentist inflicts on you because they can't be bothered to give you some pain pills for it, I would advise you to look for a different dentist.

We have a kiddo with a very big fear of shots and were unsuccessful with another dentist in town. She was unable to go through with fillings even with being premedicated. Our last option was trying Midwest Dental Care. Today she successfully got half of her fillings done at this office. I'm so thankful for the understanding and patience that was shown today by Dr Harris and his staff! They have not only gained her as a patient, they have gained our whole family as they are amazing and excel in what they do!
