Iโve always been treated incredibly well by Dr. Delaney & his staff. Excellent chair-side manner, amazing customer service. Happy to be a patient in his office.

Awkward and unpleasant experience. He was rude to his assistant, who was very nice and trying to be helpful, so that got to me the most. He dictated aggressive treatment with my teeth, Partnership was a lot more thorough with their exam and less aggressive in their recommendations about what work "needs" to be done. He sent me out of the room because he said the hygienist needed to speak to me, but meanwhile got my 4-y.o. in the chair and examined her without me, it was her first time at the dentist and she was nervous and now alone. He asked if I wanted to do the fluoride coating on my kid's teeth, I asked if Missoula had fluoride in its water and he looked at me like it was a super weird question and he didn't know (answer: Missoula does not fluoride the water). I switched her to 3 Rivers Pediatric Dentistry and it was wonderful. The rest of the staff was splendid, which makes me sad they have to work with him.

This was from 2018, but heres my experience:
1. I came in with what I told him was a root canal and he told me I didnt know what I was talking about and it just needed a filling. The filling was done pretty rough and I couldnt even floss it.
2. This "filling" full on abcessed about a day or so later, and I had to go in for a root canal. He was so rude to me I just left. In tears, might I add. I couldnt imagine going through a root canal there after this experience.
3. The way he treated his staff shocked me. He spoke to his dental assistant basically yelling at her, as if she was stupid. She was friendly to me, but nobody should be talked to like that. I dont care how great of a dentist you are, you are only as good as you treat your assistant and staff.
The whole encounter was terrible service-wise and even dentistry wise. I went somewhere else for the root canal that was mis-diagnosed and they had to clean up the mess. In the end, he still charged me for the filling but the "consultation for the root canal" was written off.. so I guess I should be happy for that?
I dont know if it was just a really rough week for him or what, but I sure hope his life has turned around and he has found some happiness. Or at least pays his staff above and beyond.

Honesty Iโve had one visit with this man and that was enough. This is the most unprofessional dentist Iโve ever met. I donโt even know where to start. So hereโs a list!
1. I could hear all of the weird conversations he was having in the back about his clients. Including a conversation about me (a new patient). He kept saying out loud, โ I donโt want to see her if she doesnโt have her x-rays!
Mind you, at this point heโs already 25 mins behind.
It was actually creepy how casual and loud he was with his conversation. I was like, hello??? The whole office can hear you!! Seriously the things he said I shouldnโt have heard. Including an inappropriate comment about Asians... ???
2 His bedside manners are the worst. Donโt get me wrong, I donโt need to be coddled. Iโve spent 10 years in the Army and prefer someone that is straightforward. But during my first visit, this dentist walks in and says, โso whatโs the problem, why are you here.โ It was bizarre. I felt like my presence annoyed him. Like, wow Mr. Dentist, Iโm sorry youโre having a bad day and annoyed that Iโm paying for a service.
3. Believe the negative reviews. This is a small town and people talk. Missoula has several dentists in the area, spend your money elsewhere!

Went today for the first time and they were great! Every person that helped me was extremely kind and told me exactly what they were doing and why. I left feeling empowered to do what I need to do (and why I need to) for my teeth rather than simply shamed that I donโt floss as much as I should. I felt taken care of and would definitely recommend them to anyone, even or especially if you have anxiety about the dentist!

They take great care of me. Great staff. Clean, positive office. Dr Delaney seems kind of shy, warms
Up. :-) He works hard, loves his family, loyal to his staff. I've been with them for years and I definitely recommend them.

I called and was told they do not accept Medicare even though their ad says they do.

Dentist Delaney is trying to hire an assistant to help with x-rays and office assistant. Except the person had to pay for x ray certification themselves which is $175 and then work for free. Training or "shadowing" as the dentist called it must BE PAID BY LAW. You cannot have someone work for you and not pay a wage, even for training. It is absolutely illegal. MT wage and hour will have a report. Im sick of small businesses trying to scam workers. You actually think you don't have to pay people to do work in your office? Disgusting!

Staff is very pleasant, knowledgeable, engaging and professional. Dr. Delaney streamlined the process to complete in fewer office visits as possible. Would highly recommend this office to friends.
