Walnut Family Dentistry

Exceptional all around! I was in town visiting family and my night guard got chewed up by the dog. I had never been here but they got me in that next couple days. They did the exam and impressions and had fair pricing. They tried to legitimately help in every way from the staff to the dentist. 100% would recommend.

Went in for my six month cleaning, which was done by Dr. Slater because he is short hygienists due to the pandemic. He was gentle, easy to talk to, and speedy. Ashley, his dental assistant, was also so nice and fun to visit with. I always have a good experience here!

After spending a significant amount of money - all paid in cash- on a new crown, it fell off within 2 weeks. I called the office and they got me in right away; however, Dr. Slater decided to send me to another dental office, since they have additional equipment his office does not. I can understand a referral. However, there are two issues here. First, if he was unsure of how to properly give me a viable crown the referral should have been done immediately when he first examined me, not after I spent 6 weeks and $3 grand. Second, he had his staff give me the information on the referral, not bothering to talk to me in person. He did not even say hello, sorry that happened, nothing. In fact, the last remark he ever said to me was after he placed the crown, and said, 'let's see how long that lasts.' Two weeks, at a cost of almost $3,000. I'll give him credit in that the crown was attractive and matched my teeth well. It simply wasn't functional. I'll not return to his office, and strongly suggest you look for a more reliable dentist.

I highly recommend Walnut Family Dentistry! I have never had a good experience with a dentist until now. I actually enjoy coming here. Dr Slater is very gentle and thorough and I absolutely love his staff. It’s been a life changing experience because I thought what I needed was not attainable. I wish I would have started coming here sooner!

The staff was very friendly. They made sure I knew approximately what I would pay out of pocket and made sure I was comfortable during my procedure. I also really appreciate that they don’t try to ‘up sell’ unnecessary procedures. In fact, after I had a filling taken care of that was not as extensive as originally thought, I was told I would be credited money back. Glad I found Walnut Family Dentistry and Dr. Slater.

Walnut family dentistry was able to get my husband in right away to look at potential dental work that needed done. They were courteous and professional, and more than willing to look into our insurance. I myself have been a patient at Walnut family dentistry for a few years now, and always have had a good experience myself. I would definitely recommend them for any dental work you may need.

The dentist hygienist (Sonja) was WONDERFUL! She performed a deep cleaning and I felt no pain, even while she injectioned Novocain. She was gentle and thorough. Very friendly and helpful staff. Dr Slader is the most caring dentist that I have gone to. The girl that cleans you teeth make you feel comfortable. Taylor in the front office is very heipful.

As always staff, including doctor Slater were amazing. Kind, quick to get me seen to address my tooth issue, and fixed my issue so I could be on my way as soon as possible. The atmosphere of the office is comfortable and welcoming, I felt like I was visiting old friends.
