Great staff with quick service. Also they work with you by doing a sliding scale fee system. There is a back up in appointments still bc of Covid it is still causing ppl to have lengthy scheduled appointments but they will get you in ASAP. AND they do a great job!

Can’t say enough THANK YOUs or kind words about the team at Mahec Dental. I had a bad fall and needed emergency care to reset and stabilize my teeth. Dr. Bridge was so kind, gentle, and professional..made me feel calm and comfortable on a pretty horrific day. Front desk and dental assistants were also great!

We are thrilled to get on board with this dental clinic. The receptionist was super friendly and very helpful with getting needed info. from another practice, etc. Thank you Tammy for all your help and hard work during the transition. Gina and Dr. Valdez are awesome!! They are both obviously an asset to this clinic. They are so loving and compassionate to their patients with disabilities. You can tell they enjoy what they do and are great at it. The waiting room is very comfortable, clean restroom, beautiful building, convenient location and great parking.

I went yesterday to have a broken tooth filled and make plans for a crown. They spent awhile working on me, and were absolute rock stars. Brenda the hygienist was great! The dentist who worked on me was too, though I didn't catch her name. They were both so patient with me when I was nervous a couple times, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. For those who self pay like me, you probably wont find a better deal elsewhere. I did my research beforehand, and their pricing is right on par with what it should be. No jacked up pricing or hidden fees. They explain all that in detail as well because they really have nothing to hide. They give the best deals they can. 25 percent discount on self pay with average pricing is better than probably anywhere. Very happy with my visit, my tooth feels great today. Thanks guys!

Warning: Not friendly to nor care for new patients. Can't speak upon the actual care because I never got the opportunity. My wife set me up an appointment at MAHEC and we are new to the area. I came in 15 mins early for my 10:00 am appointment and was told that it was CANCELLED because they attempted to call me the previous week and "confirm my appointment" but because I FAILED to confirm I was coming they cancelled my appointment.
They also said they left a voicemail which isn't true because my voicemail isn't set up on my phone yet. I have never heard of a policy like this at any dentist I have ever been and shows a lack of care or concern for patients (in my opinion).

Don't bother calling if you have Medicaid! I called earlier today, at 1pm. I told them I was self-pay because I thought my Medicaid was still pending. The woman, never got her name, was very eager to get me in the very next Tuesday. Told me the initial visit, which involved no treatment, was $95 up front no payment plans. Then once they decided what was needed it could be another $150-200 PER filling! So I told them I would call back and called Medicaid to check on my application, which I was told had been approved. At 3pm, two hours after I first called this dentist office, I called back. The same woman answered the phone and after I told her I had Medicaid instead of self-pay, she told me they were not accepting new patients! Only two hours earlier she was eager to get me in, and get my money! But once Medicaid was mentioned I'm no longer wanted as a patient! I'll take my business, and if you have Medicaid you should too!

Fantastic dental clinic that represents the dental field well. Upon visitation, you could tell the residents were wise beyond their years, and showed great clinical skill and compassionate patient care. All patients we spoke with were enthusiastically positive regarding their experience.

I’ve always had good service and had a lot of help when ever I come in for my appointments. The reason Im giving them three stars is because they’ve take on to many New patients and do not have time to see me any more. There have been times when I’ve had an emergency. The earliest date they could see me is two month later.
I’m going to change dentist now.

I called to set up an appointment because my primary care provider is at MAHEC... and has been since I came out of my mother. I was transferred over to a very passive aggressive woman who wouldn't take my information, allow me to explain my situation or let me speak with anyone else. She told me they are not currently accepting new patients due to COVID.. that I understand! (But only told me that after a miscommunication. She asked why I thought I'd be in the system as a patient if I haven't seen a dentist in 10 years and was extremely condescending!) I didn't realize that the place called MAHEC Dental Center in THE SAME BUILDING as MAHEC Family Health Center have nothing to do with each other!

I was seen yesterday at the Columbus office. I apologise because I have forgotten the wonderful staff and Drs. name due to all the crazy weather. As in important as names are I also feel the way you are treated in any business is just as important. So I want to let it be known how wonderful I was taken care of. I am very talkative as you can probably tell and they did not make feel like I was taking up their time. The Dr. took time to review all my dental options and took into consideration my finances as well. He was patient with my Add brain jumping from one tought to another. He just answered all the questions I had with such patience. The hygienist was so friendly and attentive.nI will be going back for services if my budget can handle their rate . Which they will be sending me with a treatment plan.
Five star in my opinion!!!!
