The nicest people you will ever meet. Everyone I have dealt with has been extremely nice and welcoming. I’ve had a couple of dental emergencies over the past year or so and they took me right end and resolved my issues. Now they have a developed a plan for me to get all my dental needs squared away. Extremely modern facilities with old time hospitality. Refreshing to do business with people who seem to genuinely appreciate that you have chosen them to do business with. I just wish everyone did business and conducted themselves like the employees of Shelby Dental Care Center.

Always so timely with appointments. Tina does a thorough job and is always so kind and truly makes you feel welcome. Dr. Cahill has an incredible bedside manner. The staff upfront greet you with a smile and the other people who work various roles to keep things flowing seamlessly do a fantastic job. I don't mind the hour round-trip because the service and work can't be beat!

I am from out of town and was experiencing temperature sensitive discomfort from an older dental crown. I called and the pleasant receptionist managed to schedule me in the next morning. Upon arrival the staff was friendly and professional. I was promptly treated by Dr. Austin Hunt and all my questions answered. I highly recommend this organization.

I have received outstanding dental care at Shelby Dental for more than 20 years. My dental hygienist is thorough, professional & so personable. I actually look forward to having my teeth cleaned. Dr. Cahill is exceptionally warm & friendly & always makes you feel at ease before & during any procedure.

The staff were fantastic, took great care. Went in for a exam, cleaning with intensions of having to reschedule or go somewhere else to have wisdom teeth removed. They were able to extract the ones I needed out right there in office was in and out in 2 hrs. Very pleasant experience considering the procedure I had done. They were very throughout and explained everything that would be happening and answered all questions. Will definitely recommend this staff to others.

Dr. Cahill was gentle, direct, but caring and so positive about the treatment I was receiving. When I began to feel pain, she immediately provided comfort. She is confident in her work and based on my experience has your best interest in mind.

Dr. Hunt was great. He was very careful when examining my mouth and creating a treatment plan. He was very kind and smiling which gave me more ease.

So far, all the staff have been great and take pride in how they make their patients feel!

Woke up Monday morning 2am terrible tooth pain. Called at 8am was told they could see me at10! Dr Hunt did an amazing job explaining everything he was going to do. I understand he is new at this office I will definitely continue to see him. 5 stars

I went to Dr. Cahill when I was nine years old I went it there to get my tooth pulled everything was okay until she made sure to show me the needle. We are talking about a NINE year old child with no parents because they are not allowed back in the room! Of course I showed out and wanted my dad that’s when she said “forget it have ugly teeth I don’t care” I remember those words so clearly it was very traumatizing for me. I thought maybe at least try and give me the gas I was a child. I came back to her when I was seventeen to get it pulled and til this day I say she pulled the wrong tooth to “teach me a lesson” she pulled my front tooth which was an adult tooth I feel like I could be wrong but in my heart I felt like it was the wrong tooth. It looks like I have a gap but my tooth is pushed back far that’s why I say it’s a baby tooth. After she was done she told me “see I told you you were going to have ugly teeth” it broke my heart more then anything cause I’ve been bullied so bad in my lifetime for everything but now my teeth when they were so pretty and straight. I asked her if she could send me somewhere to get a spacer or something to push that tooth up and alighted with my other tooth she said “sorry can’t help you with that you just have to find someone to do it” I don’t know if she does children’s teeth but if she does ask for another dentist because she is a very rude person and I don’t think she has the heart for kids. On the website it says she “meets needs of anxious adults” if anything I was more anxious (I have severe anxiety/panic disorder) around her she didn’t make me feel safe with her treatment plan or talked over things with me. To see her doing cosmetic surgery now it feels like a kick in the face because I felt like she could have helped me with my teeth, which even if she offered I wouldn’t take it cause I felt so uncomfortable the last time when she said I have ugly teeth. I have to pay $4,500 for an implant just to get my smile back. I don’t know if I’ll every get my confidence back though. The trauma she caused me with the words she said it really hurt me it was something very very uncalled for. My advice if they say Dr. Cahill has openings don’t do it.

I had my very first appointment at Shelby Dental Care this morning with Dr Lackey. I have severe dental anxiety but everyone made me feel very safe and comfortable. Jessica was my hygienist and there are no words to describe how kind, gentle, and caring she is. She explained everything she was going to do before she did it and checked in with me often to be sure I was okay. I was embarrassed about the condition I had let my mouth get in due to fear from traumatic dental experiences in my past. Not a single person made me feel bad about this and actually they made me feel like they were happy I was there! I recommend this facility very highly and I will be a patient for life.

I went to this office briefly m, for someone who has struggled with depression this is the first place that had made me feel worse than what I felt coming in. At follow up visit after cleaning was given rude passive comments without knowing why I was not caring for myself the way I should. Never went back.
