My husband loves his new set of teeth. The staff and Dr. Sutton makes sure your teeth fit and are comfortable in your mouth before you set foot out their door. So I give you 5 stars to you Newport family dental care. So glad you care for your patients.

The staff is very fake and smart mouthed. This office does poor dental work, and refuses to take any responsibility even when it’s their fault. They’re only nice upfront to lure you in and take your money. When you go back to have them fix their mistakes, “we don’t guarantee our work it’s been just over a year so we can’t help you”. I was invited to come back though however, for more money of course when it was their failure. There are far too many other legitimate options nearby to choose this place! We will never go back.
YES I AM SURE I HAVE THE CORRECT OFFICE. No I am not interested in discussing anything else with you.

This is the most caring dental office I have ever been to. The ladies in the office do all they can to make me feel comfortable. Dr Sutton pointed out issues I had with my teeth that I didn’t know about. I thought nothing hurting meant no problems. They showed me problems that I had and was easy to fix before it became a big problem. I am glad I found Dr Sutton and all the wonderful ladies at this office.

This is the most unprofessional Dental Practice I have ever experienced. The issues began with my making an appointment to complete some work before my insurance benefits expired. The appointment was scheduled for Tuesday at 8:30 in the morning. At 5:30 the previous day, the office called to inform me my insurance was not valid. I told them while the Insurance was still Delta Dental, the policy number had changed and please recheck it. The told me the had used the correct number so I was forced to cancel the appointment. I then called my insurance and verified I in fact did have coverage. As the office was now closed, I went to the office the next morning for the scheduled 8:30 appointment but they refused to see me, insisting my insurance was invalid. Finally my husband called the insurance company and had to conference them on with the staff to find out they had in fact, used the incorrect policy number. To cover their error, the receptionist told me the insurance would not cover the process because I had a cavity in the tooth that required work. I knew from my previous visit and discussion with Dr. Sutton, it did not so I asked them to review my x-Rays. She became rude and indignant, stating, "Will you know what you are looking at?" No, but the Doctor would and he clould verify the tooth in fact did not have a cavity. Sure enough, it did not but as the appointment had been canceled, they would not see me. They would not schedule an appointment in time before my benefits expired so I was unable to have the work completed. In addition, they quoted my portion of the cost after insurance was close to $1500.00 When we got the forms from the insurance company detailing what they approved and what my portion would be, is was less the $400.00. The staff seems to value everything except the patient. They were incorrect about the insurance but would not admit it or apologize when they finally discovered the error, instead, they became rude, belligerent, and only cared about them being right instead of taking care of the patient. If you want to be treated as a thrid class citizen that is assumed to have no brains or common sense, then I recommed you visit this practice. If however you have the abilty to think and point out errors, better not go here because they will treat you like crap.

I am rating just on how super sweet the ladies are that answer he phone. I have yet to go to the dentist here but will be this Thursday. I hate the dentist but I’m excited to go. The lady I have spoken with on the phone several times has made it such a great experience already.
