Copper Mine Studio and An, my hygienist, are phenomenal. The staff is friendly and they always pick up the phone. They make time to fit you in when needed. I have been going for over 5 years now. Never even thought of going anywhere else. Highly recommended.

Living in a small town has its ups and downs and sometimes finding a good medical or dental provider could present an issue, but Coppermine Dental is the best! They provide friendly, thorough service and are there to make sure the patient gets the care they need. After going to another provider in Sahuarita and being told I had to have a deep cleaning for well over $1,000, I went to Coppermine for a second opinion. After a quick evaluation they determined that I just needed a standard cleaning and they got the job done that day. An Ly is an amazing hygienist, who makes you comfortable during the whole visit and enables you to just sit back and enjoy your visit!

I used to love this place. It was my favorite dental office ever. But they have gone downhill over the years. It has become more and more common to end up waiting 15-20 mins past your appt time to finally be seen. One time I was seen only 3 mins after my appt time which was great! Then sat in the chair for over an hour waiting and waiting to be seen again. Everytime I asked how much longer it was "Should be just a few more mins, we are pretty busy today" After an hour and 10 mins I gave up and told them to reschedule me.
They can also be very pushy about getting work done when you have a simple cleaning. You don't just get a cleaning. You get a long lecture with great detail each time afterwards about any work you need done, and how you need to get it done even if you can't afford it.
Another part is the billing. Each appt I would pay the total/balance in full. Over the past 2 years or so every other time I would go in, there was always an additional small ($50 or so) balance that needed to be covered from previous procedures. Every time I would pay it off, ask if that was it, and be told yes. Then later on be told there was another small balance to pay off. They just mailed me a bill with balances from procedures from over a year ago that added up to an additional $280.
Last of all, my son got braces there. Was told he would only need them for about 6 months and only for the top. Then after 3 months was told he also needed them for the bottom. Then after 6 months it would only be a few more months till everything was perfect. That was 2 years ago. And they only want to schedule all the appointments during school hours. I had to insist last time that the next appt will be to get them taken off. They reluctantly agreed. Sad to say I'm giving up on them and finding a different dentist. I still gave them 3 stars because the work they do is very good and they make sure you are comfortable.

Best dental studio in Southern Arizona! My boys love coming here and getting a prize after each successful visit. Leslie always makes answers all of our questions with a smile and is great with kids.

I’ve been receiving dental and ortho care at Coppermine Dental studio for the past 6+ years. I’ve always been completely satisfied and received top notch care. My husband and younger girls are seen there too. My kids actually get excited for their dental cleanings. They love receiving a balloon and picking a toy when they’re done. The staff is knowledgeable, professional and kind. They take time to answer questions and make you feel comfortable. Dr. Dutton, An, Claudia and Kelly are all terrific! Never a bad experience here!

My experience at Coppermine was wonderful! Jessica did my cleaning today, she did such a great job and was so kind.

I had the pleasure of taking my grandchildren to their dental check up appointment on Monday. We were greeted by Kela and Natalie, the hygienists. They explained to the children what their appointment would entail. Both ladies were extremely courteous and professional. We also had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Dutton, he was warm and friendly, the children were totally comfortable with him. After our appointment was completed, I spoke with Perla regarding the children’s charges and insurance issues. She was equally as courteous and professional.
This is a dental practice we’re you and your children will have a great experience!

We were looking for a new dental office that would see our whole family, five kids ranging in ages 1year to 13 years and my husband and I. We came across Coppermine Dental Studio and after reading the reviews decided to give them a shot. Yesterday my two youngest had appointments (1yr&2yr old). From the minute we walked in we felt welcome. We were called back back at our exact appointment time. Leslie ( dental assistant) gave the kids and I a tour of the entire office before seeing us to the exam room. Never in all my years has a dental office done this!! It was great to see the whole facility and even the little kids really appreciated her showing them. During the exam Leslie was amazing, she made the kids feel safe and answered all my two year olds questions ( as well as mine!) She made them feel comfortable and welcomed. Dr. Dutton was great as well. He was very patient with the kids and engaging. He also answered all my questions and really made us feel valued as patients. I am looking forward to bringing my other three children in to Coppermine as well as my husband and I. I highly recommend Coppermine Dental Studio!

Service here has been kind of hit-and-miss since I've been going here, but they finally drove me away recently. Showed up for an appointment and was told that my insurance was no longer accepted, and that I would need to pay fully out of pocket. Bonus: there'd be a chance my insurance would reimburse me. I said no, paid the cancellation fee, and left. They said that they had tried to call me (instead of sending an email, text, etc.), but when I checked my phone records I saw that the first time they called me was the day that it would be too late to cancel without paying the fee anyway! They then only called me one other time the day right before my appointment.

Update: After the fact I did receive a call from them apologizing for jumping the gun on the cancellation fee, and even said they'd refund it. I really appreciate when someone makes a mistake, but then works to rectify it.
