My family and I have been going to Catalina Smiles and I go to Sabino Smiles for past 5-10 years. Iโve had Dr. Madi do surgery he was great!
Dr. Patel just did extensive work on my one side of the mouth she cleaned and got rid of years of decay and made my teeth look amazing! ๐ฃ painful? Somewhat! The work she did was amazing! Iโve never had a dentist be able to make my teeth look like that. Next week Iโm going in to do the left side of the mouth to look like the right side!
Sheโs an amazing doctor! Iโve had many sheโs by far one of the best! I only go to her and have waited weeks to see her. After she does my work next week I am getting gum work done and than Veneers done by her. Sheโs top notch ๐ฅ๐
Thank you Dr. Patel
Also Iโve seen a lot of posts about them charging a lot of money and extra treatments that are not needed. Thatโs the entire dental system in America. Sabino Smiles has an amazing insurance plan that costs basically nothing a year and it takes about 35-40% off of your bill each time. Also they have great low or no interest payment plans. The work they do is worth it

Best dental experience ever! This was my first visit and I've already started telling everyone I know how awesome this dental office is. I was really impressed with all of the staff and Dr. Hetal Patel, I highly recommend her.
I've been to quite a few dental clinics over the years and this has been the best one I've been to.
I don't have dental insurance, I am a cash paying customer, they worked with me on price and explained everything thoroughly to me.
I am so happy to have found this place :)

I had a dental emergency and when my current dentist couldnโt see me for two weeks Sabino Smiles got me in same day within a few hours. Angel and the entire staff was so amazing and welcoming. I have now switched dentists and will be going here from now on.

Terrible service. They try to upsell on a BASIC DENTAL CLEANING claiming that itโll be $1,500 for the service since the dentist needs to do all sorts of special procedures and use special materials to do a cleaning
EDIT: they contacted me and said they wanted to clarify somethings. The representative said that they provider wanted this because they diagnosed me with some dental issue. When I said I just wanted a REGULAR CLEANING they said that whatโs the point of that if I wonโt get the further care, perhaps maybe getting a second opinion. But no theyโll deny preventative care if you donโt get the full package of paying thousands out of pocket.

Who I assume is the Office Manager, is not on my favorites list. I came in a few minutes late for my appointment, less that 5 minutes, was told that they have a new system and I would need to do 20 to 25 minutes of paperwork and because I was late they would have to reschedule my appointment. Your Office Manager has failed at doing her job. She lost a customer, and quite possibly my wife and children as customers also. If you have a time consuming event prior to an appointment you have that time absorbed by having me do it prior to the appointment or ask me to come in early. If you are reaching out to customers, you failed to reach me. I had been coming here for a few years. First appointment was high pressure sales. Introduce fear and shame, I've seen the approach before with a previous dentist years ago. Once established as I'm not buying into you pitch they leave you alone. The Hygienist are very pleasant and have a bedside manor. Once you have been identified as not being a consumer that is going to do every service or procedure they recommend the Dentists become less pleasant, they just do a quick once over and leave the room. Some are in it to provide a service and help people, some see it as a profit center.

This is the most incompetent dentist I have ever encountered. I went to them with a loose crown over an implant. Dr Nguyen did not know what to do so I gave him the name of the periodontist in Atlanta who inserted the implant. I did not hear back from Dr Nguyen until I called the office two weeks later to hear that he was no longer with the office but "the file " stated that this implant and abutment was recalled and I would need the old implant removed and a new one installed with a new crown. I did not hear back from the office until two weeks later when I called them to see what they were going to do. The receptionist stated that she would check with the office manager. The next day I received a call from her and she stated that Dr Copeland reviewed the file and stated that I could go back to the dentist who initially installed the implant ( I thought they stated that the implant was recalled!??) or have the implant removed and a new crown attached!
I went to another dentist who simply in one hour removed the crown, cleaned it and reattached it to the implant. In my mind this recommendation borders on malpractice! I will never return to this office!

My initial visit was good. Thorough exam, good explanation of issues I was having with gums. But my follow up visit was anything but good. The hygienist was very rushed and hurt my gums. A dental assistant did the actual polishing of my teeth and wasn't very good. I'm changing to a new dentist.

I had a horrible experience dental cate from both, the male dentist & the periodontal male, that comes from Phoenix to care patients there.
They fix not calculated my implants well? And I ended up c โbad implants on the left lower area of my mouth!โ! Also my upper implant was not level well c the rest of my teeth, and they refused to correct they charged me a lot of money, and I have been extremely disappointed c this dental male doctorโ, who seems to have no knowledge of the tal care!
And the parido tal, refuses to checked me, instead had his assistant check me, and he was on his cell phone talking c somebody fir a long time!TERRIBLE SERVICE! Please avoid going there โผ๏ธi swear they did not helped me, instead โ fired me as a patient, and I read they fire the dental doctor, but not the horrible periodontal Dr from phoeixโผ๏ธ๐ค๐ก๐คฏ

Generally a good dentistry. Iโve never had any problems there as far as care go. However, we were told that my husband needed a root canal which was upwards of 3K and didnโt have that money to spend so we went to Chris Huntington and he said root canal was not needed, and just put a cap/ crown on the tooth for $300. He was great. Sabino smiles is good for general dentistry and for kids, but it can be more expensive than other places especially for higher priced procedures. (Probably also because itโs in a richer area of Tucson)

HIGHLY recommend you do not go to this dental office. From the very first office visit, I should've known better than to go back, but I did as it was convenient to where I live. I believe they misrepresent their costs in their statements, as they lump out of pocket costs (not covered by insurance) together to make it look like your co-pay, but when you get your insurance benefits statement the numbers don't jive. They also push you to get their in-house crowns and do not mention that insurance does not cover the cost difference. The dentists seem a bit inept as they couldn't secure a permanent crown enough so that it wouldn't fall off after 10 days. Had to have it reset.
And as for my first visit, about 7 months from the last time I saw a dentist (changed dentist due to moving) the hygienist made me feel like I had never taken care of my teeth, wanted to see me again after 3 months to determine if I needed further gum treatment as I was informed I was pre-periodontal disease. Also made me feel that my previous dentist of 6 years was clearly not a qualified dentist. I was in tears with how "low" they made me feel. Never had any issues with my previous dentist's office so I am going back to them since experiencing this nightmare with Sabino Smiles.
