Dentistry By Design

I'm not impressed by their follow-up. Had a 2nd cleaning and as an afterthought my hygienist said oh I forgot the fluoride. She then used her finger to spread the goo on the front 4 teeth upper and lower. I was then charged almost $90.00 for something not applied properly or professionally. Also not something I wanted. I tried several times to have that fee reversed through the office with no results. But I gave them one more try. Even spoke with the dentist about the problem. No results. Was told instructions are to do a fluoride treatment on everyone over 65. My plan does not cover it. I'll not be back. I'll not recommend them.

Every interaction has exceeded my expectations. I initially called Dentistry by Design in a panic, fearing my husband's wisdom tooth was impacted. Even though we were brand new to their practice, they saw him immediately, accurately diagnosed the problem, and relieved his pain. We have both since been back for effortless and thorough cleanings and routine work- all of which they've explained in detail, with photos, with why it is necessary, how much it will cost (after insurance), how long it will take, and how it will feel. The staff is warm, friendly, and professional from reception and billing through the technicians and Dr. Ionescu- who greets everyone with a genuine smile before working efficiently and patiently with great care for our comfort. I can't recommend Dentistry by Design high enough and count myself lucky to have found them.

DBD has the most competent, polite, and professional staff. They are all fantastic people who make your care a top priority. If you can't say that about your dentist, you should give them a try.

It’s been 10 years since I’ve been to the dentist. I have great benefits through work but didn’t know much about my benefits with my dental. Alyssa at dentistry by design was so amazing and super helpful. She basically did all the work for me, and explained everything to me in layman’s terms! I seriously don’t know what I would of done with out all her help! Thank you Alyssa and dentistry by design for making a very nerve wrecking experience super easy and pain free!

I do not enjoy going to the dentist, no matter who the dentist is. However, Dr. Ionescu, Gabi, and all of the staff at Dentistry by Design have been extremely kind and pleasant to be around. I had an old filling replaced today, and went through all of the anxiety of being injected with a giant needle, and having my face numb for half the day, but I did not even realize that he had given me the injection until he told me I would be numb in a few minutes. I was in and out in about an hour with no discomfort. I still don't like going to the dentist, but I also have less anxiety about going.

I am very happy that I was referred to Dentistry by Design. I was given several reminders of my appointment date and time. My appointment fell during the second wave of COVID 19. I called the office to let them know I was in the parking lot. A representative came out and took my temperature and asked about my over all health. I put on my mask and followed her into the office. I was asked to use the touch-less hand sanitizer before I went into the exam room.

I was given a full set of x rays and pictures. After a thorough deep cleaning of my teeth Dr. Ionescu came in to do his exam. This was the first time I had a dentist do an oral cancer screening. My Father In Law was diagnosed with stage 4 mouth cancer a few years ago. His dentist did not realize that the teeth he was loosing might be a sign of cancer until the cancer had already eaten away a large section of his upper palate.

Dr. Ionescu brought several dental issues that we would need to keep an eye on. He also showed me a picture of a back molar with an old metal filling in it. The tooth was horribly cracked with at least 4 cracks that were discolored. The tooth had been in trouble for at least 10 years. I was very upset that it had not been brought to my attention by my prior dentist, as I would have had it repaired long ago. I also wasn't aware that I had any metal fillings in my mouth. It was an upper molar in the very back. I would like to have been made aware of that so I could have had it removed after we learned how bad those fillings are for our overall health. I decided to make an appointment right away to have the filling removed and do our best to save the tooth with a crown.

I am one of those people who actually does floss every day and do my best to take good care of my teeth. I am very happy that I have found a dentist who is proactive on preventative care. My goal is to keep all my teeth for the rest of my life.

Dr. Ionescu is not only a perfectionist, but also a kind and gentle man. My only hope is that he NEVER retires! I have found my dentist for life.

My granddaughter had a cleaning appointment today and Doctor found a cavity! Oh my!!! She is 7 years old and I didn't know how she would react to getting the tooth filled. She was so brave, thanks to all the staff that made her feel so at ease.
This Grandma is going to lighten up on the sweets.

I had a really nice experience at Dentistry by Design. I am always so nervous when I go to the dentist. The staff was extremely friendly and answered all of my questions. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Friendly, courteous and professional describes the entire staff at Denistry by Design. Dr. Ionescu does an amazing job of making the patient feel comfortable during routine exams as well as during more complicated procedures. The dental hygenist are outstanding.
