Everyone was so nice. From the front desk staff, to the assistant and dentist. I had an infected fractured tooth. They got me in immediately. I showed up before they opened 6:45am, I couldnt sleep because the pain was so bad. I found them already open. I was able to get my tooth extracted right away. I was given other options and there was no rush in my decision.
I'll be back for routine and other work!

I thought it'd be appropriate to add my response here because I was the one that set up these appointments for my daughter Kathleen White. I just read her review and couldn't respond to your comment personally, so I had to write my own. I called in May to try and get her in because of her tooth pain. This tells me that there must have been some miscommunication between the receptionists and the dentist. When I called, I did indeed tell them that her tooth was giving her severe pain and discomfort. I was a bit confused when she finally got in because there was a treatment plan laid out for non-related concerns at that time, as well as a cleaning that was performed. Which is excellent, but her tooth pain wasn't attended to, which was the primary concern. It turned out that she had an infection in that tooth and needed a root canal for it, where your treatment plan was going to just crown it. But not only that, I must say that the billing with the insurance was interesting as well. I have dealt with preauthorizations and such from many dental offices before, but none quite like this. It is your choice for how you work with insurance companies and billings. I get that. I'm just saying how it was handled here was a first for me. I never had to wait so long to get stuff pre-approved. In my personal opinion and to keep this short, it was very troublesome.

They are very nice people, Patient. Conversational. Do their job very professionally and very good at it. Once went to a dentist and they absolutely wrecked my teeth, couldn’t bite down for weeks. This dentist allows me to walk out with a smile!

We have had nothing but great visits at Meija Dental! The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating. Everyone goes the extra mile to help each other out and that says a lot about what a great team Dr. Meija has working for her. I highly recommended this dental office to anyone young or old!

Dr. Mejia is amazing. I’ve been going to an older dentist for awhile and his equipment seems a little archaic compared to Dr. Mejia’s office. So quick and efficient and never any pain. She and her staff are so friendly and professional. I actually don’t mind going to the dentist for the first time ever.😊

My boyfriend is a patient of Dr. Mejia’s (as are ALL of his colleagues and everyone I mention her name to!). I experienced an emergent abscess and having never seen her before, Dr. Mejia and her staff took care of me IMMEDIATELY.

To complicate matters, I have a rare genetic disease that renders local anesthetic pretty ineffective. Dr. Mejia and her staff are professional, warm, empathetic, charismatic, and knowledgeable. Dr. Mejia is not dissuaded by nervous patients and her staff are so patient and kind.

After moving here, I was sure I was going to have to travel for good dental care. Not so, as there is PHENOMENAL care right here in Beautiful Alamosa! What a relief to have found such a wonderful dentist and staff!

I have been going to Mejia DDS for over 10 years. I have always had a great experience and my hygienist is great! The staff is friendly, proactive, and very responsive. The facilities are clean and comfortable. The before and after care always gets me to my appointments which is big for myself. 100% satisfied!

Dr. Mejia and her fine professional staff provide superior dental care in a friendly atmosphere. They promote effective preventative hygiene but perform appropriate dental treatments when inevitable ailments occur, as painlessly as possible.

Asked them if they would accept direct payment from my last dentist and they agreed. After my initial visit they told me that they wouldn’t do that, even though there was a verbal agreement from both dentists to do this. Instead of honoring their agreement they told me that I would pay them directly only. I can’t do this because the expensive nature of the crown that needed fixing. I ended up just paying them $140 for the initial visit with no work done. The office manager was very aggressive in telling me they were not honoring the agreement to boot.

Love this place they do such a good job! My daughter was going to a children’s dentist and they were recommending caps on her adult molars, got a second opinion with Dr. Majia and we didn’t have to do the caps. Her teeth look amazing! Thank you all for your amazing work and expertise!
