Dr. Chen is a very knowledgeable, friendly and gentle doctor. He knows what he's doing and he'll let you know the best course of action. His staff is awesome,, everyone is very warm and welcoming.I highly recommend Uptown Comprehensive Dental.

Was in pain and the staff worked me in the same day. Dr Chen is so kind and thorough with his exam. He explained everything to me and gave me options as to what to do next. I completely trust him and will continue to see him. He is very knowledgeable and I trust and value his opinion

I cannot express my enthusiasm for getting a new front tooth! So glad I was referred to him from my regular dentist. He is the best: great lab, great timeframe, great assistants. Even the temporary that he put on my implant was fantastic looking.

From the initial phone call to set up the appointments all the way through walking out of their office after treatment and complete satisfaction I have told several others about this dental office and its staff. I have always been extremely leery and cautious of dental appointments, treatments, staff, and their professionalism and personalities... But with Dr. John Chen and his staff, I felt completely at ease from the very first moment I entered their office. I initially was sent to their office on a referral, but upon leaving their office, I will be using them in the future. This is the first dental office I've ever been to where the dentist can actually see your mental images of what you want done and how you want the finished product to look and feel.

I’ve been coming to this incredible team for so long now they feel like my medical family. Every time is the same - a super friendly greeting, they ask about how I’m doing and genuinely care to know, and the best service in town on the dental work. Lana, Ricky, Val, and Dr. Chen are about the best you’re going to find. After a motorcycle wreck that left my teeth in very bad shape, I’ve had just about every service they have, and everything was top notch! If you’ve messed up your teeth in an accident, or just want to have some natural-looking veneers, this is your team. Couldn’t recommend this team enough.

What an amazing staff! Let me start off by saying I hate going to the dentist. Being somewhat new to the area it so challenging finding a provider that is honest and caring. Without a doubt that describes Dr. Chen's office. It's always a good time meeting with Lana for my cleanings. She is thorough and informative. I love getting positive reinforcement from her. Dr. Chen has such a calming demeanor that every dentist should have. His work as both general Dentist and Prosthodontist is flawless. He set out a plan for some restorations that were in my best interest. Ricky, the dental assistant, is super friendly and I look forward to seeing him and catching up my foodie story's and recommendations. I have found that many excellent providers have awful front office staff, but not Dr Chen's office. I always smile when Valerie answers the phone. It never sounds like she is in a rush trying to get me off the phone, even when she is feeling under the weather. I could go on and on. This practice is for sure trustworthy!

I looked this practice up on google on a Saturday morning in a panic with an emergency. They were able to fit me in ASAP that same day. They were great and addressed what I needed. The were very kind and compassionate of my situation and what I was going through. They were so great that I did a follow up and got a whole exam done. We addressed everything that needed to be done in the next 6 months. And to this day I have the most random questions or concerns and call them whenever and they are quick to get Dr Chen to address my issues. They have been so great. Even Val at the front desk knows who you are the instant you walk through the door and greets you with a friendly welcome. I’ve only been coming to them for the last year and will continue to only do business with them.

Love love this dental office. Everyone makes you feel at home and comfortable from the moment you walk in the door and while in the chair!! My husband and I left the office with smiles on our faces!!
