I look forward to going to the dentist! My teeth look and feel amazing.

I've been going there for almost 7 years. Debbie always does a great job at cleaning my teeth. Dr Sara is very nice and competent. I've only had a couple cavities treated there, but they always catch the problem early on and fix it well. I've never experienced any pain during or after those operations.

I've never liked the dentist.. everyone in the office is SO SWEET and attentive - love this place. Now, my teeth are the best they've ever been. Debra is the greatest and Dr.Sara really cares

I’ve been visiting hygenist Debbie for many many years; gentle, thorough, and forever cheerful. I’ve always felt that I’m receiving the best level of care from Deb, and she has my highest recommendation. Dr. Sara is very charming and knowledgable, and loves using leading-edge technology. Folsom Family Dental staff is relaxed and friendly (and after so many years are a lot like family!). Location off Folsom and Valmont is convenient (easy to get in and out) and there is always parking available. Recommend!!

Dr. Sara is an incredibly intelligent, caring, and genuine individual. She is one of the few docs I know that can speak intelligently on ALL aspects of health/medicine and how it relates to dentistry. She’s no drill and fill type dentist — she’s a Doctor and a surgeon. I once heard her say something to another patient and it’s exactly why I keep coming back: “I like doing excellent work on my patients because I would want to have excellent work done myself, and I also know I wouldn’t sleep at night unless I’ve done my best work every day.” She prob didn’t know I was listening from the other room but that meant a lot to me. She goes out of her way to explain anything you may have questions about, and she is a kind, no-nonsense woman that will go out of her way for her patients. She took my emergency call last month at 10 pm when she was on vacation and called me the next day to follow up. That’s the kind of person I know I can trust. I live out of state now but I come back to see her because ive never met a doctor that’s so genuine.

Great experience can't recommend highly enough! I hadn't been to the dentist in an embarrassingly ) long time (15yrs) and had a ton of anxiety about going in. Amy was very helpful and kind as soon as I entered the door. Katina helped me with my X-rays and scans and was a pleasure to deal with. Dr. Pourkay was informative and I really appreciated how she went into depth to make sure sure I understood my care plan. Debbie did my cleaning and was so gentle I had almost zero discomfort! I'm so happy I've found a Dental office that I can feel comfortable going to. Thank you all!

PS I had zero cavities after 15 year gap between cleanings which I'm pretty sure basically makes me Wolverine which is another bonus and I would give a 6th star if possible for that reason

This practice was wonderful when Dr. Stangel was there. Dr Sara Pourkay is awful. Unprofessional and disrespectful. She was very Disrespectful toward my father, who is 83 and said some foul things to my husband. One of which was referring to a procedure as a mouth condom. She is disrespectful toward staff and talked poorly to hygienist the last time I was in. The only reason my husband continues to go is the hygienist, who is wonderful. I would not recommend. I gave it one star because it wouldn't let me post without one.

Lets be clear...There is no misunderstanding. Just because you say Dr. Sara would never say foul things doesn't mean she didn't . Could there be any other way to explain the "rubber dam procedure" If the perception is that is was inappropriate, then, it was.

My father had just moved to Colorado and needed some work done. I was still a patient at the time so I brought him to you. Dr. Sara examined him and said "his mouth is dirty, I will not work on a dirty mouth" Could there be a better way to say that? She wouldn't look at him or talk to him, instead, only to me. he was right there and felt dismissed. She also said he needed 2 teeth pulled. We went to see a very qualified dentist and my dad only needed one tooth pulled. A good dentist tries to save teeth. Also, Dr. Sara probably needs to brush up on how to treat seniors.

Lastly, the last time I came in for an appointment, over a year ago now, I expressed concern about the lower left side , to the hygienist. When Dr. Sara did her pop in, and the hygienist told her about my concern, she said, "I don't see anything" and walked away . She acted like she didn't like the hygienist informing her of a problem. I have since had problem addressed.
I will never return and have no desire to call your office. I just thought others should know of how Dr. Sara treats people.
Additionally, I don't feel there is a positive vibe in the office, it feels competitive and tense.

Dr. Pourkay is an amazing dentist, her staff is super friendly and the office is really nicely decorated with great views of the flat irons as you are having your dental procedure performed. They have friendly text reminders that keep my schedule organized and on target with my cleanings.

After problems with another local dentist's work I needed attention from someone new. The entire experience with Dr. Pourkay and her staff has been a joy. They could not erase the suffering from the previous poor care, but they have done the very best they could to make a needlessly bad situation better. I could not recommend Dr. Pourkay and this office more highly. Do not hesitate to rely on this offce for the best in skill, personal attention and empathy. Highest praise for the best of care.

Dr. Pourkay is great. I went in for a routine cleaning and she was extremely thorough. The way she was able to clean around and under my bonded retainer was borderline magical. She was also very friendly and took the time to explain not just what needed to be done, but why.
