My hygienist was excellent. That was the only good part about coming here. Dr. Trujillo only told me I had cavities after I had stood up, grabbed my things and was walking out. "Oh you have two cavities go ahead and get an appointment scheduled." Never during my exam was I told I had cavities or shown which teeth were affected or told the severity. It was an afterthought. They charged me for a $90 photograph of my teeth without telling me it wouldnt be covered by insurance. Shady business practice. Then, when I went to get my records released they scheduled me for another appointment instead of sending me the form! Do not recommend. EDIT to add: went for a second opinion at a different office and I have NO CAVITIES. Summit dental is a bunch of crooks.

Dr. Trujillo and her staff are the best! Very professional and courteous. Everyone made me feel at ease and comfortable during my recent visits to her office. They explained the processes in detail and were quick to contact my insurance company to verify coverage for additional necessary dental work. I highly recommend Summit Dental!!

Dr. Williams and her staff are outstanding. They go to great lengths to make sure that their clients receive the best possible assistance. NEVER have I ever looked forward to a dental appointment. Summit Dental is unique. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

The other reviews describing this dental office as "worse than a used car dealership" are incredibly accurate. The problems with the front desk staff started immediately, as I made the appointment. They called me 3 times to change it to another time and doctor. This was my first appointment to their office and explained to Ginger that I would be purchasing their Smile Plan and not billing Insurance, they seemed to take full advantage of this and without explaining anything told me I needed the full panel of x-rays, instead of just what insurance covers. An additional $200 cost, just for an x-ray.
After the cleaning they determined that I had 8 cavities that needed to be filled immediately. I got a second opinion and found that I had one that was minor enough to fill with a composite and UV light. During the appointment, the Hygienist printed off a cost sheet for the work they've determined to be done with options to pay with their Smile Plan discount or the full charge. This is completely useless! Regardless of what that invoice estimate says Ginger will charge you the full amount, plus the additional $250 amount of the Smile Plan if you chose that option. If you argue it at the desk, they will send you a bill in the mail!
Used car dealer, or just bad business practices you decide but buyer beware, these guys may be good people and nice dentists, but you'll pay for every bit of it, including an additional charge for COVID PPE and shop supplies.
Not worth it, go to Comfort Dental, you'll get treated better.

Dr. Amy and her Team are top notch! Our family has gone to them for over 10 years and everyone I’ve referred has been pleased. As a Team, they work well together for their patients and provide consistent, current dental advice to maintain good oral care for a lifetime. I feel lucky to have found them for our family so many years ago!

I highly recommend Summit Dental if you are looking for a great dentist office in the Springs! They are the friendliest people you will meet! The minute you walk in the door they are there to welcome you with a smile and make you feel apart of the family! You never have to wait long for your appointment and are very thorough. They are great to listen to your concerns and worries and address them and reassure you. They always make sure your comfortable and are gentle. I always leave feeling happy and my teeth feeling nice and clean!

Dr. Amy and her assistants are pleasant people, however I've had too many negative experiences to continue visiting her practice. The scheduled appointments never lined up with the work I had expected to be done (for example, I had gone in once expecting work to be completed on the lower right to learn that I was scheduled for the upper left. I went in again for a 2 quadrant deep cleaning and learned I was scheduled only for one quadrant). Unfortunately, the office was so booked that they could not do additional work and scheduled me for follow up appointments a month to 2 months out. When in the office for the deep cleaning, the hygienist identified that I did not need the deep cleaning but that she would just complete the standard routine cleaning this visit. Well, my insurance was billed for the deep cleaning. When I called to investigate this, the receptionist was very rude and unwilling to look into the matter. I called twice and each time she read me a different version of the visit notes. I asked for authorization for the services performed and she stated that me sitting in the chair was my authorization. Finally, she asked if I was really struggling that bad that I could not pay the $40some bill that I received. How offensive. I was simply trying to find out why I was told services were not being completed when they were and why I received a surprise bill weeks later... If payment is due at the time of service. I am still confused and offended, but ended up paying the bill to avoid collections. If you are looking for an office to partner with you in understanding your insurance and care plan, just take your mouth and money elsewhere.

If there was an opportunity to give a 6-STAR review, Dr. Amy and Summit Dental would get 6-STARS from me. Dr. Amy has been my dentist for close to 20 years. She and her team are fantastic. I can't image seeing another dentist. I read the complaints about insurance (folks this is your responsibility to know your own insurance - complain about the insurance company, not the provider).

She literally laughed multiple times while activity drilling my teeth. I could feel the vibration of her laughter. No wonder my teeth are still sensitive. No pain before she decided I needed an amalgam filling replace; excruciating sensitivity since. I was never going back before I received the bill, then I found out they took the in-network insurance money and charged me the remainder at out-of-network prices. This is in total violation of the signed financial policy which indicates patient responsibility of patient estimate plus that which is not covered up to the insurance estimate. Insurance paid more than the estimate, I paid patient portion then received bill for the remainder of out-of-network price. This place is a nightmare. BBB mediation was absolutely no help.
