I was visiting friends in the Trinidad area when I bit into a cherry pit and brook my front tooth. I looked into the mirror and said it is time to pull my bad teeth and consider dentures. Insecure about such a decision, I went to Dr's Mike and Steve at Family Dental and they were very kind to answer all my concerns and shed light on my options.
The appearance of the office/lab is very modest and without bling. The staff is friendly and casual and a feeling of friendship is in the air, a nice family vibe. Dr's Steve and MIke share second opinions and their confidence is assuring all will be well. They are becoming very popular and certainly will expand to meet the needs of the community..
I am wearing false teeth now and after the initial discomfort I am eating and talking with joy.

I have been on the search for a great dentist and after getting a recommendation and going to Trinidad Family Dental I can not say more positive things. Dr. Mike and the rest of the staff were so nice, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and I am now looking forward to my next visit. I highly recommend this place and I will be back for my next cleaning. AWESOME Staff!! Super friendly & informative!! Very gentle from X-rays to an extraction!! The entire staff seem to really care about your health and comfort. I have known Dr. Kastelic for almost 5 years, and worked with him for 2 of those years. He is an excellent person of great character, and I have full confidence in his skills as a dentist. I would be comfortable having him work on myself or my family.

This is the best experience I’ve ever had at a dentists they always made sure I was comfortable and not in pain. Dr mike has helped me repair my teeth and gums. And I couldn’t ask for better dental assistants shanntell has helped make it a easy experience and I look forward to going back.

Great experience, I had a infection and was handled with such great care. Very nervous but was reassured and checked on every step of the way for my extractions. Shantell and Dr Steve are amazing! I had numerous teeth pulled. Pain free! No swelling afterward! i recommend them to my family and friends. Shantell was so sweet making sure I. was comfortable and relaxed. Even let me squeeze her hand. Dr. Steve was awesome! He made sure to explain everything, and was very efficient. He was done before i realized they were gone. Will be taking the whole family there.
