Monaco Dentistry

I’ve been to this office a few times over the last few months and every time it’s a pleasant experience. The staff is so helpful and nice. I’ve never had to wait for more than 5-10 minutes to be seen and the doctor is incredibly knowledgeable. I feel comfortable with my treatment plan and have even recruited the rest of my family to the practice.

I made an appointment for my 11 year old son for a complete exam, x-ray, fluoride application and basic cleaning. When I got to the office they said the appointment was for myself not my son (we corrected this). I then sat and waited an hour because they were behind schedule. Again no worries here, Im an RN and I understand that getting behind schedule can be out of our control. Once in the exam room we sat and waited another 30 minutes only to be told that my son was scheduled for a "limited exam" and there wasn't time to do a complete exam (with x-rays and cleaning). Apparently we had been scheduled incorrectly, again. As annoying as this all was what really bothered me about the experience was the unprofessionalism of the staff. While in the exam room, I witnessed 2 dental assistants walking by laughing to each other and saying that neither of them knew what they were doing. The assistant then proceeded to walk into the sterilization room (which I could see from exam room 5). One of them opened the autoclave which was PACKED full of freshly sterilized supplies. Being a surgical nurse I know that the CDC guidelines for sterilization state "all items to be sterilized should be arranged so all surfaces will be directly exposed to the sterilizing agent. Thus, loading procedures must allow for free circulation of steam (or another sterilant) around each item". This means the items should not be PACKED in and touching each other or they will not be sterilized properly. Again very alarming!! Also on the back wall of the exam room, was a large flat screen TV which displayed every patient who was on the schedule (first and last name, photo, DOB, insurance, type of appointment, etc). This is a HUGE HIPAA violation. I realized I could very easily access the schedule and get any information I wanted. So pretty much any patient who comes through the door has access to other patient's private information. Wow!!!
Needless to say, we walked out and will never be rescheduling our appointment.

My children have been patients here for 3 years. The staff is always professional and caring. Wait time is VERY short which is a plus for me with 3 children. They always make the visits simultaneously and communication is A1. Highly recommended

The office staff is so efficient, especially Mimi. She kept me updated on all of my appointments or changes. The dentist that was filling in was very good but I missed MY dentist, she was out due to illness BUT she surprised me by coming in to complete my final appt. She is a amazing dentist & person. If you need a dentist, you should choose her, you will never be sorry!

Very modern office and friendly staff. I was very impressed at the level of patient care. I had two extractions done and it was fast and painless. Highly recommend this dental office.

Office staff nice and assuring. Male dentist not so much. I did not state his name because he never introduced himself to me, nor do he bother to step in front of me to talk to me face to face. I came in with a tooth ache and he stated my only option was an extraction. I was not prepared for that and had many questions. He exited the room immediately after telling me what he was going to do. Thanks to the very sweet assistant, she noticed me crying and sat down and answered my questions and tried to make me feel better. If I decide to go back, I will ONLY see Dr Amrooei.

This place is awesome! very professional and super friendly. I love going there. I highly recommend to anyone. They will work with you. as much much as I don't like going to the dentist, but always looking forward to go there :).

Dr. Amoorie and the staff on site are very personable, and attentive. They succeed in making visits as pleasurable and as comfortable as possible. Dr. Amoorie is incredibly knowledgeable and advises on the best treatment in regards to health and appearance. The office is state of the art with the most up to date of technological equipment for treatment. In addition the chairs are comfortable with several flat screen TVs with full access to Netflix to pass the time. This office is highly recommended, I will go nowhere else for treatment !

Great staff, great doctor and hygienist. Definitely the best place to take care of your teeth.

Today Myself, My Husband, and our FIVE babies were STUNNED by such an amazing staff of people at Monaco Dentistry. From the warm welcome, all the way down to scheduling our next appointment! Very clean. Very nice. Overall one of our GREATEST experiences ever!! My husband isn’t easily Awe’d, so for him to feel at home with the TV’s and Netflix options while getting his teeth cleaned was the ICING TO HIS CAKE!! Thanks to Kayla, the Receptionist whom is the true reason for us to have this experience to begin with. She didn’t try to persuade me, honestly we had a genuine conversation by phone and I made the decision to proceed with our NEW DENTAL OFFICE!! THANKS MONACO DENTISTRY FOR HAVING US!! It was simply amazing!! See you again at our next appointment!!
