When he says that something has to be done we know that he doesn't try to

Dr. Wilhite was wonderful as was his receptionist. Dr. wilhite explained everything that was going on with my tooth very clearly and what I need to do moving forward. I was on vacation and had a crown come loose and he was able to get me in at the last minute which I greatly appreciated.I am a bit of a baby when it comes to the dentist but I can honestly say this was the least painful least stressful dental experience that I have ever had. I highly recommend Dr. Wilhite.

He asked me questions to find out the specifics of what I was looking for, he presented lots of good information about the device, benefits and shortcomings, and talked about insurance coverage. I am from out of town and Dr Wilhite agreed to see me. I was desperate as one of my front teeth (a veneer) had fallen out. He fixed my tooth and did a fabulous job. I was able to continue my vacation with a full set of teeth. I am so grateful.

Having just moved here a week ago I was hit with a painful lost filling and needed quality help fast, and had no established dentist yet. I was referred to Steve by my previous dentist and Steve was able to get me in on their first available appointment day. He was a life saver and a miracle worker. The filling was on the front of a major molar right at the root of all places. VERY painful when worked on before, but not this time with Steve.
The care was exceptional and professional with a full explanation of what was being done as it progressed, which is important to me. Best thing of all was being able to put on their headphones and listen to different kinds of music while the work was being done. That was a first for me and it worked great. Only difficult thing was I had to catch myself to make sure I was holding still since I kept trying to move my feet and hands to the music.
I have DEFINITELY found my dentist now that I am living here in the islands.

Dr. Wilhite and his staff are very thorough and friendly. The waiting room and clinic rooms are clean and nice enough (but not lavish to the point you wonder where your money is going). The one complaint I have is that he does not accept Hawaii Dental Service (HDS) insurance and I didn't know about this until after my appointment.
