Today's Dentistry Caldwell

This is my 1st. Time coming to their Caldwell office and I really had a great experience with my hygienist named Sam, she made me feel comfortable and less anxious. Definitely will be coming back to her.

Made an appointment this week to get X-rays and discuss my needs with the dentist. I have an immediate need that needs addressed.

I have Medicaid but called around and hardly any place is taking Medicaid now except a couple lower income facilities with not great reviews

I called this place and they said they don’t take it. So I decided I would pay out of pocket so I could get the kind of care I want.

I Had a babysitter come all the way from Boise.
Showed up and handed them my paperwork. Front desk asked about insurance. I informed them I have Medicaid but I would be paying out of pocket since they don’t take it.

They refused to see me because it’s “Medicaid’s policy that they have to bill Medicaid if I have it and it’s services Medicaid covers”
They then informed me I could go to the lower income place and it’s owned by their same company.

I called Medicaid and spoke with them directly and it’s absolutely not true that I can’t choose to pay out of pocket.

They said no place should be refusing me just because I have Medicaid if I am agreeing to pay cash myself.

Not sure what their issue is with Medicaid patients but the whole experience was very demeaning.

Gentle dental care is very important but the truth of it all is most important! Knowing what needs done and must be prepared for is extremely important so we can understand the whole situation. My wife has been coming to Todays Dentistry for quite some time and never had a bad experience until today. Her appointment was at 3pm, the hygienist was not at the office, so another hygienist came and did her injections. She sat for 45 min waiting for my hygienist before she arrived. She then seemed very stressed and her chair side manner, heavy breathing, hand shaking caused my wife additional stress.

My whole family loves Today's Dentistry in Caldwell! Dr. Huffmire is the gentlest dentist I have ever had. The office staff is pleasant and the assistants and hygienists are great. We are very happy there.

Nice and friendly Staff. Atmosphere is welcoming. Efficient appointments and wait time. Love Sam the D.A🥰 she is a sweetheart.

My wife and I have been going here for a few years and they are always great. Friendly hygienists and staff that do good work.

I had a great experience ,yes at my Dental appointment. No pain, I had a crown done , I was done quicker than I expected. My experience was great.

This place is amazing! They were so very compassionate. Kind and patient people. Every time I go to the dentist I always have anxiety and this place knew exactly how to talk me through every single detail and process. They made sure I felt safe and calm. I wasn’t pressured todo anything I didn’t want. I hate going to the dentist but if I had to go anywhere or recommend anyone or even bring my kids here this is the place to go. Well done guys! You are all so very helpful and just amazing human beings! :)

Everyone’s extremely nice. The office is inviting. Excellent job on cleaning my teeth. She took care not touch my sensitive tooth.
