This was my first time to Mtn. River Dental. I was very pleased with the receptionist, dental hygienist as well as the doctor. He came up with a plan for my continued care and was very conscientious not to have me spend all of my insurance money at the start of the year (wait til the end of the year for a crown). I would highly recommend this office.

I haven't been to a dentist in a while, but when a large filling fell out a friend recommended Dr. Tristan Taylor at Mountain River Dental.

This former BYU tight end is big, but as friendly and gentle as anyone gets. I was absolutely blown away that he was able to fabricate a crown (my tooth was beyond a simple filling) and save my tooth- all in less than two hours- with no pain!

Plus he worked with me to pay for it! The best dentist experience I've ever had in Teton Valley. Thank you Dr. Taylor and Sally!

I have been to Dr. Taylor twice. The first time I called him I had had a tooth loose a filling and was in need of a crown, another filling wouldn't have done the job. Dr. Taylor and the staff at Mountain River Dental promptly scheduled an appointment for me the following day and performed the procedure of a crown without any problems. I decided to have a second crown performed the following month and once again Dr. Taylor and staff; Deb, and Sally, were most accommodating and professional. I went in for a crown and also had my teeth cleaned, whitened, a filling filled, and some bonding work performed. Dr. Taylor had my best interest at heart, It wasn't about trying to charge me more money it was about what I needed in the form of dental work. You see I am a full time college student and just recently moved from the Victor area. Dr. Taylor saw that I was in need of some dental work to send me on my travels to finish school with a healthy and beautiful smile. He was most generous and didn't price gouge me. I would love to have him as my dentist, but unfortunately, I moved away from the area. My step-dad is so impressed with his professional demeanor that he is considering flying out to Idaho from North Carolina to have Dr. Taylor perform some dental work on him. I had two 30 plus year old crowns on top front teeth that needed to be replaced plus tetracycline stain on all my teeth. My top front teeth were "buck" in shape. I decided to replace the crowns, but before doing that, Dr. Taylor suggested whitening all my teeth to remove a good portion of the stain. Then, after discussing how six of my top front teeth would look after replacing the crowns, the Mountain River Dental team and I decided to add veneers to four other teeth. We followed through with this plan, and you should now see my smile! The new crowns and veneers have given me a smile that I am happy and proud to display. All my teeth match better in color than ever before. The Mountain River Dental team were supportive and extremely helpful throughout the process including follow-up phone calls to see how I was doing. I highly recommend Dr. Taylor and his amazing staff. I am planning for additional work in the future to get all my teeth in good shape for the next 20 years!

For those anxious patients, we offer sedation (just by taking a pill), as well as nitrous oxide (happy gas) and DirecTV while you have your work done.
As part of our dedication to your health, we continually invest is education courses that train us in the highest quality procedures. Did you know that dentists have to have 30 hours of continuing education every two years to renew their license. In just the first 5 months of 2012, we have already completed over 50 hours of additional training! We love to learn because it gives us greater confidence that we are providing our patients the best care dentistry has to offer.

We don't live in Teton Valley but travel to have our dental work done with Dr. Taylor and staff. They are always kind and very patient with me and my family. Dr. Taylor has just the right touch and the type of personality to even get my 2 1/2 yr old to sit in the chair and get her teeth checked. They are also willing to make short notice visits for problem teeth. I ended up calling a day before for a problem tooth and was needing a crown they worked me right in and fixed. Afterwards Dr. Taylor continued checking on me to make sure I was doing ok. It made a miserable experience turn out more pleasant. Would highly recommend!!!
