The hygienist did an excellent job. The lady that prepped me for the two (2) filling repairs did a good job also, as well as the Dentist. Overall, the procedures went well (completely numb during the procedure). One issue is the stereo - I may ask to tone that down some next time I am there. I don't need the unnecessary noise.

Dentist there is nice but the office always tries to find a way to get more money out of you. Is business that slow?? I got a treatment plan that included work that my insurance wouldn't cover until the next period which was 2 months. It was periodontal cleaning and oh no we really shouldn't wait another 2 months!! So then I would've paid full price out of pocket $1000. Had 2 of my fillings bust off, 1 busted off TWICE and both times they CHARGED me for it. This time the excuse was well you didn't keep up with your cleanings (I was behind 4 months) so we can't guarantee our work. Are you serious? What could've possibly been done that would've shown the filling was going to bust off. It doesn't get loose before it busts off!! My kids don't even want to go back there for their regular cleanings. I've been seeing another dentist but because THEY weren't the ones that did the cleaning, it doesn't count that another one did. Let's see if another f'n filling busts off. I've NEVER had this problem with any other dentist.

If you don't like going to the Dentist I highly
recommend changing to the Gentle Dentist at the Geist office. Dr Sonia Alex is the BEST and has an OUTSTANDING STAFF . My wife and I have been patient's for over three years .

Thankfully someone recommended this dentistry to me. Dr. Alex and Jenni are awesome and know what they are doing. They are so gentle and do the most thorough work you'll ever get. I've always felt so rushed at other places. My root canal was completely painless and comfortable. At one point I almost dozed off! I really can't say enough about how pleased and thankful I am that they know how to do their job well. I highly recommend this dentistry to all!

I had to bring my 5yo in for a tooth extraction and it could not have gone better!! Oh, and it was our first visit there! From the minute we walked in, they were warm and welcoming. My daughter was a bit scared and Dr. Alex made her feel very at ease. Thank you all so much for making this scary situation seem less.

Geist Gentle Dentist Office is very warm and friendly. Everyone makes you feel comfortable when you walk through the doors. Dr. Alex is extremely thorough and does a great job of explaining your dental procedures, so that you always know what's being done. I feel confident entrusting my teeth to Dr. Alex and the staff at Geist Gentle Dentist.

I went here because it was one of the few dentists my insurance covered and I was having tooth pain. I got xrays and she told me that I needed 14 teeth worked on; 2 being root canals. Since this sounded off to me, I got a second opinion and surprise, I only had two teeth that actually needed work.
The cost (my portion after insurance) would have been over $4000 for all of the unnecessary work she wanted to do.
I would recommend going ANYWHERE but here. The IU dental school is inexpensive and it seems the student dentists are more competent.
I honestly would give 0 stars if I could. If you go here and they want to work on your teeth, I strongly suggest getting a second opinion elsewhere!

Someone recommended this dentistry to me and I was not let down! Would definitely recommend to anyone else. The hygienist Emily was very professional, answered all my questions and explained everything clearly so I could understand what she was doing.

No one loves to go to the dentist, particularly to have a crown replaced! This was quick, easy and pain-free. Although it took two appointments, the initial visit was all of the prep work taking about 1 hour. The second visit I was in and out in 30 mins. The staff was kind and very professional.
