Dr Knight is the best Dentist I’ve ever had. She and her staff are so kind, patient and compassionate. The office is beautiful, appointments are readily available as well. I highly recommend them!

I really would like to give this dentist five stars. The people are very nice, and they did a great job helping me with a broken tooth.
I do not have Covid, but when I called to inform them that my wife has Covid, I was told I cannot come in. I totally understand that. Yet The irony in all of this, is because this means they have essentially canceled on me due to THEIR policy. I called before my appointment and was willing to come in.
Regardless, they charged me a cancellation fee. They said I should have called them the day we found out. We found out at 2pm yesterday and I was still testing to make sure I didn’t have Covid.
I understand a cancellation fee for something willy-nilly, but this was a legitimate reason for THEIR safety.
I could have just lied to come in anyways, but I didn’t. I chose to do the right thing and somehow I’m now being penalized. I just don’t think this is good and fair practice for a new customer.
I have only had one visit with this dentist office, they say that you are allowed to have one cancellation, but for some reason this cancellation cannot be waived because it was scheduled for more than an hour. I get that the doctor cannot have people canceling left, and right, it costs them money in the end. But they know that I’m going to reschedule this appointment because I need to come in and get the crown. They will get paid for this work at the end of the day. To me, this just seems lacking grace and is a bit profit over people focused. People cannot control when their family gets Covid.
I really liked the doctor here, and I found the people helping him to be great. Therefore it makes me sad that I will probably not ever come back here after I get my crown finished. My Dad is a doctor, and I’ve never seen him blast people with policy and no true unerstanding when they had a legitimate reason for canceling.
When looking at other reviews, it seems that others have had similar experiences here. For this reason, because they do not seem to have grace with new customers or longtime customers, I do not think I can recommend this practice to my friends and family.
The truly unfortunate result of this situation is not me having pay a cancellation fee, but that I was going to use this office for: a crown, other fillings, a 1200$ out of pocket whitening procedure, and regular cleanings. I guess $55 is more important.

Emily is usually my dental hygienist and I can’t say enough good things about her. I was running late, but she is very quick and business like, while being very personable and warm. What a hard worker! I know she has consistently done a better job of cleaning my teeth than the hygienist I went to for 26 years. She even asked about my daughter whom she’d seen last year. Emily makes me feel cared about and listened to when I see her. In fact, everyone has always been so thorough at this practice that I know I’m getting the best care. I did have some concerns about some staining, but admittedly I do drink coffee, so the doctor I saw may have thought the very small area will continue to stain and that’s fair. I could’ve asked him more about it, but that was my choice.
Update: I accidentally reposted this, but what I wanted to do was add that my visit yesterday was the same; the same professionalism, and care as always. It’s such a great feeling to know you have a reliable practice to go to. Also, the stained areas disappeared with a new toothpaste recommended by Dr. Knight since I’m sensitive to SLS. Thank you all!

Another good cleaning and 6month check up. I was very glad at last appointment when gum thinning was noticed and the referral for periodontal care took care of it before it became unfixable. I have been a patient here for many years and continue to trust the dentists and their staff with my dental care. They are friendly and efficient.

I've been going to Pierce family dentistry since 1984. If they moved to another city, I'd have to consider following. Can't speak more strongly of my loyalty and trust of their services.
Needed a 2nd visit for a crown. Dr Knight was wonderful. Such a professional . The crown was fitted perfectly and not a single issue a week later.
An older crown had chipped. I was taken in in a few days. Dr Knight was able to determine that a little polishing would fix me up and I was on my way in Lee's than 30 minutes. Typical wonderful service.

Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience at Pierce and Knight today, and I encourage everyone to consider this policy before using their services. I have been a patient for a few years, never missed an appointment, scheduled in advance every six months. Today, I was informed that Pierce and Knight was out of network for my new job’s insurance. Instead of considering my past loyalty and forgiving the appointment cancellation fee, I was given the choice to pay $95 (the cost to me is $0 in network) for the visit or pay a $50 appointment cancellation fee. Yes, I could’ve called to update my insurance in advance, but cancellation fees are not charged in a vacuum. I will definitely stop referring people here and will look for a new provider.
