Wow! I am soooo grateful I chose MCDM for my dental needs! I have severe dental anxiety/phobia and Dr. Kahn was so calming and settled any nerves I had about my exam. I am not an existing patient of the Maine Center for Dental Medicine, nor do I live in the Skowhegan area. I grew up in Norridgewock but moved away over 25 years ago; and currently reside in Nashville. I returned to Maine two weeks ago for the funeral of my father. A week ago I started experiencing tooth pain and it subsequently got worse. I contacted the administrative team at Maine Center for Dental Medicine two days ago. They were booked solid for the tension set of the week but were gracious to fit me in yesterday morning for an evaluation/x-ray. The results was a fractured tooth and infection. I was concerned, and did not feel I could wait until I returned to Nashville next week. They, again, were able to accommodate me into their busy schedule and this morning Dr. Khan extracted my problematic tooth.
There are not enough nice things I can say about Dr. Khan and his amazing and wonderful staff / team. Everyone was kind, patient and listened to my concerns and questions. To perform emergency surgery in a person who was not an existing patient, and do so in such a short period of time was a miracle. I cannot endorse and refine this practice enough for your dental needs. I am truly thankful I called them and that they performed my dental work this morning.

The team at this dental office is superb. My amalgams were removed with great ease and all precautions for mercury removal were taken. They are such a caring bunch of professionals. I will definitely continue taking the 5 hour drive to this office and continue being a patient at this dental office.

With a HUGE childhood fear of dentists I no longer get anxious! I adore Jake and Dr. Khan never fails to make me laugh! I come from over an hour away and don't regret the trip. I highly recommend them.

I had a gum graft surgery on a receding gum that didn’t go well at Maine Center for Dental Medicine. When I finally went to Dr. Oshetski in Brunswick, he told me that he wasn’t surprised that the graft didn’t take because I didn’t have the correct supporting bone structure for a gum graft and that the surgeon that performed it clearly didn’t know what he was doing.
I’ve heard good things about their removal of mercury fillings and I had a good experience with their hygienist but maybe just stick to the things they are good at if you decide to see them.

I drive over an hour to get there and it’s totally worth it! I’m a former retired Dental Hygienist and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They care! It’s the best practice I have ever seen. The work is superior. Love the staff.
