This is a "Wonderful" dentist. The staff is very professional and caring and kind.Dr. Shakoori is a "Wonderful doctor she made me feel very comfortable in her chair. If you are scared of the dentist like me and deal with "Anxiety"like me this is your dentist to come too. I'm glad i found this "Wonderful Dentist" I would like to thank Dr.Sakoori for my new smile!!!!!!!!!!

The whole time I felt like the staff were working together for me to have the best dental health I could have. I had never in 50 years of going to the dentist had my gums measured before. And I liked how I could see photographs of my molars on the TV screen so I understood that the fillings were cracking and that I need to replace them with crowns. I also was happy I could be measured for a replacement retainer without having to an orthodontist (I wore braces 10 years ago.) The staff explain the charges and work with my insurance. It is a pleasant atmosphere and I even like the office decor.
I highly recommend this practice!

Phenomenal work. I have had a horrible experience with another Greenbelt Dentist, just lack of professionalism, and also inconvenient hours. but this practice understands that people must work! While they do not offer Saturday hours, which would be ideal, they have a "late night" which is on Thursday. This made my life so much easier. I had very bad pain and called on a Wed, and they made an appointment for me Thursday. Now let's talk about professionalism and attitudes. The front desk staff was friendly, knowledgeable, but most of all efficient. Nobody has time to be put on hold, while another person has to ask questions, bc they don't have the necessary knowledge! Trust is established when staff knows what they are talking about. so thank you for having a well trained and knowledgeable staff. The woman I made the appointment with answered my questions patiently and explained the procedure and gave me a ball park estimate. she did not tell me 17 times in a row--"You need to leave $100 dollars NOW." (Sidenote, see my Yelp review.) The dentist came in and told me I would need a crown and they could start RIGHT NOW. Notice, I still did not hear anything about a hundred dollar downpayment! And true to their word, the work started asap. I was quoted half of the price, bc insurance covered half with was about $400. The dentist gave me the painkiller and while dental work is never comfortable, I barely felt a thing! No pain, just some pressure. What sets Dr M apart is that he patiently answers all questions and does not act like he's in a rush, or if he's annoyed--and I had several questions. The dental assistant, Ana, was also great--knowledgeable and thorough. She put the cement and temporary crown. (Still no mention of the $100 downpayment) She told me they would make a 2 week appointment for e to come back and have the permanent crown installed. Finally, as I was checking out, they gave me the bill to look over and I left my payment in full. Imagine that, they did not treat me like a thief and did not continuously pester me for a $100 downpayment. I felt respected and valued as a client, which is what everyone wants. For this reason, and the EFFICIENCY I will be back for my comprehensive exam and will also be changing my children's dentist to Dr Meranami (sp).

As always, the entire staff just so understanding, caring, cordial and professional! I'm never excited to be going to a dentist. However, I always love my visit with this office "Smile Arts General and Cosmetic Dentistry!!

I've gone to Smile Arts for 10 years now. I did go in on a deal with someone else for teeth whitening, and that hygienist commented on the good condition of my teeth, so I know they are doing an excellent job taking care of my teeth. They also are very considerate of any pain while performing services since I have highly sensitive teeth. I highly recommend using this practice.

This is a nice and clean dental office. My kids love coming because the staff are very gentle and my kids get lite nice dental gifts at the end. We have been coming here for the past 6 years, even after we moved to a farther area, we still come here for our dental appointments. Thank you to the dentists and their staff.

I have been to m any dentist over the years and I always experience dental phobia. I have never experienced this with Smile Arts and Dr. Shakoori. The staff are wonderful and I feel so comfortable, I have no fear coming there and feel so relaxed I am inclined to doze off in the chair. I recommend Smile Arts to anyone, especially anyone who experience dental phobia.

As usual my visit to Smile Arts General and Cosmetic Dentistry was superb. I truly appreciate how educated Latoya, the dental hygienist, is. My teeth are truly healthy and clean due to her advice and education. I hope to be a long standing patient! Great work!
