The dentist was very wonderful. However while getting my theeth x-rayed the xrayX machine feel off the wall and landiyon my chest and arm. At first it only hurt a little but about an HR later my arm swelled and has been hurting ever since. Not sure I feel safe going back. I had to drive for work the rest of the day in pain. The only negative is that you have to book way in advance of an appointment but I understand why - they are a great dental clinic for my whole family. Their cleanings are quick and thorough. Highly recommended.

The name says it all -- from the moment I walked in, calm was everywhere...from the friendly greeting from the receptionist, the warm neck wrap and the amazing inversion massage chairs next to a glowing fireplace in the waiting room -- some have described it as like a trip to the spa and that is true. My hygienist Amy came for me and I (somewhat begrudgingly) left the massage chair, but found the exam rooms equally comfortable and decorated in soothing colors and relaxing furnishings - much more like a luxury hotel than a medical office. Once Amy started cleaning and examining my teeth, I sat back and enjoyed a program on the overhead TV screen and was offered a set of headphones and remote control. In other practices, I have felt rushed through the cleaning and exam, but I honestly feel that I have not had such a thorough cleaning and exam for many, many years (Thanks Amy!). Once the X-Rays and cleaning were finished, Dr. Jenny Ruoho took the time to answer my questions and get to know me -- a refreshing change in an industry where you often feel like just another set of teeth. While I had a clean bill of health (no cavities!), I must admit that I was a bit bummed that I have to wait another 6 months to come back for my next checkup! Seriously, if you dread going to the dentist and would like the experience to be more like going to a spa -- Relaxation Dentistry has figured it out. My only regret is that I had not found this place a long time ago.
