Usually I have a good experience, but today I called to get some information on an appointment I have. The woman first puts me on hold (which was okay), but hangs up. Didn't think nothing of it. Till I call back 3 times and she hangs up on me each time and when she finally answers she is RUDE!!!!!! Would not recommend calling this place

I have been going to ELFD my whole life - - so for approximately 40 years! No matter where I live, I still make it back to see them every 6-12 months. In-network or out-of-network, they are the only ones to touch my teeth. I cant say enough good things about ELFD! Amazing staff, friendly and willing to accommodate even the toughest schedules. They really are a family and I have recommended several people over the years to them. I look forward to seeing them for the next 40+ years!!

In the 30 years I have come here the staff always has a smile and very friendly. Brad is always good and tells you what he is doing 😊 and what way is the better way to go. A very warm atmosphere.

I had a tooth that had a large old filling it. I had to have the tooth fixed as a new cavity existed. The Dentist had trouble fixing the tooth as it was on the upper top left hand side. He couldn't get the spacing right between the teeth as I have
smaller mouth. After a few attempts, he said, 'this will have to be good enough' and I was told that I would probably get food stuck in there. One year later, I am still using little wire brush tools to get food out of that space 2-5 times a day. Dental floss does not work. And yes, it does hurt, even the gum will bleed on occasion. So, would this be good enough for you???

Thanks Eagle Lake Family Dentistry, because of you I probably won't get my tooth fixed and put off doing something about it again so it will most likely get worse. You've reminded me of why it's been nearly a year since I saw you last about the same issue. That's my real name and you have all my info on file so you can see the details of the appointment for yourself and let me know if I left anything out.
I called to schedule an appointment because I had a bad tooth that I had been putting off taking care of and they insisted that I come in for a cleaning so they can figure things out. I had about 7 min out of an hour's appointment with the dentist where he basically only said, "yep that's a problem, looks like you need your wisdom teeth out too". I asked what my options were and he would not stop going on about my wisdom teeth. When I finally got him to address what I came in for, he gave me the run around where he spoke a lot of words without saying anything or giving any advice.
Then he said that maybe I should schedule a consult so I could go over my options. Isn't that exactly what I said I wanted to do over the phone when I was pushed into labeling it as a cleaning!? Sure feels like you guys are trying to milk me for everything you can get out of me and my insurance.
I left with more questions than answers and I probably won't be getting my tooth taken care of any time soon. If I do take care of it, it will probably be at home with a pair of pliers. At least then I won't get the run around with someone avoiding giving me a straight answer then rushed out.
Just seems like these guys don't really care about taking care of their patients, only about sticking to their routine and making easy money off appointments the insurance company pays for. People like this scheduling unnecessary appointments and postponing treatment to another visit are exactly what drives up the cost of insurance.
