Office is very welcoming with friendly staff. They were able to get me an appointment same day as a new patient due to me having a toothache. I had to be referred to an endodontics for a root canal and the first referral did not work out. I called and spoke to Gay and she was able to refer me to another office right away. Very knowledgeable staff. Will definitely recommend them to family and friends.

I have been going here for years and have no plans to switch even though I live quite a distance away now. It's worth the drive! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Both dentists explain things thoroughly and will patiently answer any questions you might have. They also offer "calming" medication for dental procedures like fillings and crowns, which is greatly appreciated!

After moving to Arnold 2 years ago, I needed to find a dentist right away. Luckily, I googled dentists and JL Dental came up. I couldn’t be happier that I found them. The entire staff is wonderful and they made me feel like I’d been going there a long time. Dr. Laura has done all of my extensive dental work and she is the best dentist I’ve gone to. Dr. Jonathan is super nice, too, and very thorough when he checked my teeth and mouth after my 6 month cleaning. The whole staff is friendly and very professional. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else!

Before becoming a patient at JL Dental, I had deep anxiety. At other dental practices, I would dread my appointments, the night before, I would lose sleep. On the day of a dental appointment, hours before, my stomach would tighten. What changed me? The gentleness of the staff, and their responsiveness to my concerns and my quirkiness. That helped me to trust both in their ability and knowledge. I am pleased to recommend JL Dental as a practice to develop a relationship with.

My wife and I have sought dental service several times over the past few years and received nothing but the BEST dental service available in the greater St. Louis Metro Area at JL Dental. Two weeks ago, Dr. Jonathan Mears did a root canal and installed a crown on my tooth. Dr. Jonathan Mears and his very proficient assistant, Dental Hygienist (DH) Heather, performed the dental work in a VERY friendly and professional manner including the involvement of a contraption that held my mouth open in a relatively pain free manner in that I did not need to concentrate on holding my mouth open. The ensuing crown and root canal proceeded flawlessly with relatively little pain. Today, I had my teeth cleaned by the very experienced and painless Dental Hygienist, DH Dee. Her proficiency can only be attributed to her many years of experience both in school and on the job at JL Dental. Dr. Laura, the feminine side of JL Dental, examined my teeth and suggested that I get a cavity drilled out that was hiding under an old filling. Dental Hygienist (DH), Dee, actually discovered the cavity hiding under the filling. An inexperienced novice Dental Hygienist would NEVER have discovered the cavity. Dr. Laura concurred with DH Dee that there was indeed a cavity hidden under the filling. As a Christmas gift, DH Dee gave me a tooth brush, tooth paste, and dental floss. I walked through the pristine and sterile facility to the front desk and asked Gay the Office Manager (OM) what the damage was (how much did I owe). I was given a reasonable bill and handed my credit card to OM Gay and she ran my credit card. She then offered to make an appointment for my next visit which would include removing the filling, filling the cavity, building a foundation, and placing a crown over the foundation. If Gay is the glue that keeps JL Dental operating at a highly proficient, effective, and profitable level, then Dr. Mears is the Brains behind the outfit, and Dr. Laura is the grease that keeps the wheels turning, and DH Heather and DH Dee are the cogs that keep the JL Dental Clinic operational. I have only good things to say about the Dr. Mears, Dr. Laura, DH Heather, DH Dee and OM Gay. I would give them 100 stars, but the most I am permitted to rate them is 5!!! If your teeth are aching, come to JL Dental and the aching will cease!!!!!!!! Trust me!!!!!!
