Big Sky Dental Clinic: Chris Clave DMD

My experience with Dr. Clave's office was quite effective - an easy visit as usual: a very competent hygienist, Rachel, and very observant Dr. Clave, rounded out the friendly office staff. But for the lack of this office accepting my insurance, my appointment was superlative.

Service was good, BUT and that's a HUGE BUT, I just received a bill from 3 years ago for over $200, 3 YEARS AGO! I asked her to call me back to go over it after she discussed it with the dentist. No call back, typical even years ago. I couldn't get a straight answer even then. My husband went in to discuss it with her and she couldn't explain why I get this bill 3 YEARS later! He gets a print out and most of our work was never submitted to insurance. As he was going in someone was in front of him with the same issue, they got an adjustment and someone came in after him with the same issue. She never calls back and doesn't submit to insurance but i guess they get paid no matter what so they don't care if you have insurance or not and to be bill 3 years later. I guess I won't be surprised if I get another bill. Oh and she only works ONE DAY A WEEK!

012423: As usual, from receptionist to hygeinist to dentist, on time, superbly professional but friendly - - engendering a comfortable atmospher - - this is the place!

2021:When we moved to Montana, I selected Big Sky Dental because Dr Clave chose the Polson area to raise is family, because he is relatively young which means more modern dental education and up to date treatments. We have not been disappointed. Excellent customer relations; excellent dentistry. Excellent staff. THANKS Dr Clave and all.

051718 forgot appt, got call to come in late anyway. See above, nothing has changed, except now familiar with staff and almost two years of dentistry to wife and I from Dr. Clave and staff - - top of the line!

052019 As ALWAYS, in for 6-mo cleaning/check up with my preferred dental hygenist. We left a great dental staff in Oregon and I researched thoroughly before choosing Big Sky. Modern, professional dentistry at its best.

112119 As ALWAYS, in for cleaning/check up with my preferred dental hygenist. As usual she did a great job - - no pain, lots of gain. Then with Dr Clave; took up some areas of concern, made plan, made appointments to carry out plan. Easy as 1, 2, 3, A, B, C - - - did Jackson Five just pass through?

120319 Bottom row, front five, surface fillings to prolong life and limit further friction/pressure damage - - without anesthesia; no pain. Then state of the art (digital) modeling for night guard. AS USUAL SUPERIOR patient care and gregarious and thoughtful staff.

052620 Semi-ann cleaning. Wondered aloud why manual tools instead of the usual ultrasonics; advised that it is a Covid19 precaution as the ultrasonics cause an atmosphere/cloud of saliva moisture. Anyway, hygienist did the most comfortable cleaning with manual tools I have ever experienced! Viva, Big Sky Dental ! ! !

120320 Semi-annual cleaning. Wondered aloud (habit) about continual upgrades to methods and equipment - Dr Clave upgrades methods and equipment when he is certain of a distinct value to both his patients and his practice. As usual, efficient, gregarious staff are the jewel in the crown (okay, okay, pun intended.

011922 In for semi-annual cleaning. Talked with Dr Clave about new equipments - he has his eye on upgrades that add to his ability to deliver modern dentistry to us patients. Then had teeth cleaned - expertly and painlessly AS USUAL. Big Sky Dental is TOPS! Highly recommend Dr. Clave and crew.

Excellent experience. The whole staff are A+++ material, always smiling and very helpful. I had a crown done and Dr. Clave talked me through everything he was doing and made me feel at ease with the process and fit me in when I needed a little adjustment that same day. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone needing a dentist in the area.

The entire staff is courteous, knowledgeable, professional, and they all seem happy in their work environment. The practice is high tech, which is exciting and made my experience comfortable and enjoyable.

Friendly Dr. friendly staff. Cleaning and fillings were done very well. Any questions Chris was able to answer. For those who fear having your teeth worked on because you dont like drills in your mouth or getting stabbed in your gums. Well he is accomiding for that as well lol.

Chris Clave and his staff are professionally efficient and effective but they are concerned not only with your dental health, they are compassionate about your entire life's circumstances. Absolutely fantastic people both dentist and his crew! Thanks for being there!!

A very clean, spacious office with all state of the art equipment. The staff is friendly and professional. This was the first time in my life that getting the novacaine was absolutely painless. They offer crowns in one visit, as they make them in office.

Was a great visit as always! Dr. Clave and his staff was courteous and efficient. I have used Big Sky Dental since my first dental visit as a kid and I will continue to use them. I highly recommend Dr. Clave, he has a way with the kids, he makes them feel very comfortable and safe.
