They were so friendly and helpful here!
I didn’t expect for Doctor Aldo Koentjoro to get right to the point and I didn’t feel like everybody was judging me. The office had a calm and inviting atmosphere. It looked and smelled clean as well. I’m super excited to continue my dental work here with these folks. I highly recommend!!

I chose this location due to it being open on Saturday. When you call for an appointment you get the call center. The person I spoke with in the call center was MORE THAN helpful in checking more than one location to help suit my needs for my family. I ultimately settled for the Oak View location. The office staff was very friendly and welcoming. We are new to the area and they made us feel right at home. Unfortunately, I had to have more work done than I wanted, but they gave me a referral and got me a same day appointment. My children were very comfortable with the hygienist and Dr. K is super comforting. Being skeptical of a "chain" dentist office, this one has our business as long as we're in Omaha.

One of my old crowns fell off. I had this crown from other dental clinic long time ago. When I called this office hoping to schedule an appointment asap, the receptionist was able to squeeze me into Dr. K's schedule in the same day so that I could receive his immediate care and treatment without worrying about getting any damage to the tooth - if you do, this will increase the chance of replacing it with a new crown. I also had a teeth cleaning after the treatment. The hygienist was very professional and skillful not causing any discomfort even when she's cleaning sensitive teeth. My overall experience with this office was EXCELLENT & BEST in town! I would highly recommend this professional dental care service to everyone!

I love everyone here! Front office always greets us warmly, Angie does such a great job on our cleanings, Dr K is amazing and will explain everything he is doing as he works on you. I have not had good experiences elsewhere but they all took their time to make me comfortable.

The dentist was good, I went in for a root canal after numbing me up they said their suction tool went out and are glad they didn’t start drilling yet, 5 minutes later they got it working. Started the process, the nurses are terrible. I mean terrible. I don’t know how many times they talked about their own person issues in front of me, didn’t know much about the root canal process, kept tripping over the X-ray cords and ripping the thing out of my mouth and didn’t even get told sorry, they took their time when I was most uncomfortable and they knew I was uncomfortable. The dentist is great he was fast and understanding, but the nurses need to get some training in professional and customer service, and more definitely how to not trip over cords especially when the end of that cord is in someone’s mouth.

I have always had great experience here. My last appointment was at 7.30, but I thought it was at 8, and they were very accomodating! They were able to still see me even though I came in almost 25 minutes late. Other dental offices would have turned my down and asked me to reschedule. Thank you Aspen for the great experience. Dr. K and his staffs are the best!

So far, so good. Dentist provided a reasonable plan to fix my immediate broken tooth and other work that needs doing into the future.
The financial person was very helpful in explaining costs and
ways to plan for work to be done and associated pricing. No
actual work has been started yet, but I look forward to getting
going on the plan.

Crown was yanked off by an employee who didn’t introduce his self or mention his name before yanking the crown off my tooth which caused me to hit him on the arm as an automatic reaction because I was clearly in pain! Not to mention he proceeded to continuously (3-4) remove the crown, reshape it, then proceeded to put the crown back on. Clearly the area was sensitive & it would’ve been considerate to offer numbing cream! Now you tell me if that sounds like a wonderful Aspen experience. Also it doesn’t feel comfortable chewing on the same tooth I got the crown on, the tension seems to be worst before I even had anything done. I’ve always been traumatized as a kid going to the dentist, & this experience I’ve had now as an adult makes me paranoid to ever step foot inside a dentist again.

Very respectful, friendly and didn't feel looked down on or treated differently because we had no insurance. We're kinda helpful in the financial department except that they still make it difficult to get approved for payment plan and wouldn't except Care Credit card unless full amount down? Financially, they NEVER really help but found this place was the most understanding and the only place I found that was free for first visit/xray. Definitely stickin with Aspen!

I have had nothing but positive experiences with the Oakview location of Aspen Dental in Omaha.
Everyone in the front office staff such as receptionists and insurance specialists, as well as the folks dealing with the financial side have always been a pleasure to work with. When I have a problem or need a short-notice emergency type of appointment the person on the phone with me always manages to work me into the schedule somehow, and/or get the info I need quickly and with a sympathetic and positive attitude.
The dental assistants and hygienists are always friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. They always make it feel laid-back and comfortable for me, rather than like a cold, impersonal, medical environment.
The dentist I see at Aspen is Dr. Koentjoro, (or Dr. K as I call him sometimes.) This guy has repeatedly come through for me in some really tough situations. I had some really bad, damaging, expensive work involving implants done by an unscrupulous oral surgeon in another state who ended up losing her license and fleeing the country, and it left my dental situation a total mess. I met with a couple dentists after that who didn’t even want to take me on as a patient, maybe for fear of making it worse or maybe fear of potential lawsuits or something. It was a nightmare. Luckily Dr. K was different. He seemed kind of young on first glance so I was a little nervous, but that was unjustified. Right from the start he was upbeat but honest and realistic about what could and could not be done. I never felt like he was judging me at all, he was never condescending, and most importantly to me he wasn’t promising anything he couldn’t deliver on as my dentist from that point on. We talked about what I was hoping to achieve in recovering some dental function and made plans based on that. It never felt like he was trying to sell me on some crazy expensive drawn-out process. There have been a couple times where I’ve come in and it turned out to be a very minor problem which took little time, so the team didn’t even charge me for the appointment.
Dr. Koentjoro and the team at Aspen’s Oakview location have proven to be ethical, professional, honest but kind, and just really good at their jobs every time I have had an appointment. I don’t usually write reviews, but for a dentist or dental practice to have earned my trust after what I’ve been through is quite an achievement.
