Absolutely love everyone at this dentist office. I used to dread going to the dentist but I actually look forward to my appointments now! Everyone that works here is kind, considerate, and just super nice and helpful. My dental hygienist Afton is fantastic and very calming (I was incredibly nervous when I first came) and Michelle up front is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet and is super knowledgable about all the insurance speak! I couldn’t ask for a better Dentist or dental staff. There is nobody I trust more with my smile than this group of awesome people. Thank you!!

I was not pleased with the front office. I went to the dentist against my better judgement and had some question about a charge on my bill. I’m not familiar when dental office billing, but I ask for future reference if I could be told the things my insurance would not cover ahead of time. The answer that was given to me was not an acceptable response. I was told basically insurance companies don’t dictate their charges. This is a problem being that dentist do not display extra charges. I preceded to pay the first bill of charges that would have been paid by my insurance had I been given an option. I was at the office for a routine cleaning and was under the impression that the issue had been resolved. At no time did anyone mention a laser procedure they were about to performed today would not be covered by my insurance. As I was existing a lady at the front desk ask for another $150.00. Of course I was shocked because we had just discussed them letting me know before they do any procedures what my insurance would or would not cover. I was presented with a signed piece of paper stating that insurance benefits are only an estimate. At no time did anyone give me an estimate for my procedure today so that it would put my mind at ease. Good customer service doesn’t assume the customer knows something, they explain what they are doing and why. I forgot to mention I was a new client to this office.

As a long time patient of the Center for Cosmetic & Family Dentistry I wanted to take a few minutes and express my viewpoint of the practice.

My experiences have been nothing short of fantastic. Dr. Gates is a great dentist! He always takes the time to do whatever is necessary for the patient. He is never hurried and always puts me and my needs first. And me being his "favorite patient" does help.

His entire staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Kim is in a word simply the best! I have been dealing with her now for over 10 years and could not be happier. She is always helpful and professional.

No one really likes going to the dentist, but I promise you that the experience with Dr. Gates and his staff will make the experience better - much better.

I could not recommend Dr. Gates and his entire staff any higher. They are truly "FIVE STAR!"

Amazing experience for my daughters first visit. Front office staff was very professional and courteous. Dr. Coleman was very professional as well.

The staff is always friendly, warm, and professional. Gita is wonderful with my sensitive teeth during cleanings. And both Dr. Gates and Dr. Parker make any dental work (fillings, etc.) as quick and painless as possible. Highly recommend!

Dr. Gates and his office have been my dentist for almost 4 years now and they are the most amazing and welcoming individuals that I have ever had as a provider! I got my veneers done almost 4 years ago and the initial visits and consultations were so thorough and though out. Dr. Gates and Kim go through every possible option for you to choose from as your patient and assist you with each step in the process. The financial aspect can be intimidating and they work with you and cover each possible option that suits your realistic needs. I LOVE my smile now and my confidence has increased dramatically since getting my veneers done. My family also goes to Dr. Gates and I continue to highly recommend them to friends and colleagues.

My most recent visit this past Monday was a very important appointment that was not scheduled in advance. I had an abcess that grew over the weekend and the pain was so amazingly excruciating and the right side of my face was swelling. I had an abcess the size of a gumball!! I called Dr. Gates office at 12pm and they got me in right away at 3pm the same day. They wasted zero time in ensuring I was taken care of and I had to get a root canal asap which Dr. Gates fit in to his already busy schedule. I appreciate the time they take and it is obvious that they take their time with each specific patient to meet their needs. Everyone is always in a good mood and are very personable. I am working full-time and going to grad school full-time so they have always been flexible with my schedule to ensure my dental health is met. They genuinely ask how my family and I are doing and go above and beyond for their patients. Dr. Gates made sure he followed up first thing in the morning the following day to see how I was doing. Their commitment and dedication to their profession is beyond what I have ever experienced. Thank you Dr. Gates, Kim, Gina, Gita and all the staff that have worked so well with me and my family these last few years. I appreciate everything you have done for me!
