My husband and I had moved to Las Vegas 6 months ago and needed a dentist. We were referred to Silver State Dental by -800-Dentist. The receptionist was friendly and the waiting area was inviting with magazines to read. We filled out the new patient paperwork and about 15 minutes after we arrived, my husband was called back. Since we scheduled new patient appointments back to back, I was escorted back about 45 minutes later. The dental assistant, Raz, took several x-rays of my teeth. She was gentle and thorough. She made sure all the photos turned out before moving on to the next thing. Dr. Young then came in the room and introduced himself, asked if any teeth were hurting, and proceeded to review and document everything he identified in the x-rays and then took a look at each tooth. He explained what he saw and why I would need a procedure. The hygienist, Kyoko, introduced herself, explained that she was going to clean my teeth and provided me with safety goggle so I wouldn't have to worry about splash-back getting in my eyes. She then used a rotary tool, water and a suction tube to gently scrub away the build-up on my teeth. She then finished up with the scraping tool. Kyoko prompted me when to close my mouth to let the suction tube do it's thing so that I didn't have to worry about drool running down my face. She also checked in with me a couple of times to make sure I was okay. The receptionist knew what was prescribed by Dr. Young and helped us set return appointments and provided reminder cards. Overall, my first appointment was pleasant and thorough. I left feeling confident in the competence of this office.

My children have been seeing Dr. Young for 4 years now. Never had any problems with them. My children love this dental office, the staff and their dentist. Friendly environment and very close to our house.

I went for a routine exam and cleaning because my regular dentist is not accepting appointments until September. I received xrays and a rude exam. Followed by the receptionist telling me I had over $1500 worth of dental work. I told them I came gor a cleaning. She insisted I use Care Credit to pay for the work. When I refused to use Credit. They pushed the tray away and showed me to the door. Bottom line they are not in business for the health of your teeth!

I know that I need a lot of work done on my teeth. How ever, they wouldn't do a cleaning and said I needed deep cleaning done. This is something I have never needed. 620.00out of pocket. Then instead of helping me they said I will need 33,000 to fix my teeth. That the crown I had done a year ago would need replacing. He didnt even touch my mouth and said I had a infection in my gums. I dont believe this is true . Super upset about this dentist and will be looking into someone else

love dr young . his a very great dentist . i was so excited he open his own practice years ago . Still excited his still open and available. Its pretty tuff to find a good dentist in town . Dr. young is one of the few best still in town . i recommend him to all my family and friends
