I was very pleased with my overall checkup and complete service. Mixup on orig. apt, but was put right in for checkup anyway. Dr. Ofri & staff very professional & was able to get me right in for cleaning, very pleased with hyg. tech Jeanne's cleaning & Dr. Ofri's check up. Just moved to Mesquite from Denver and my Wife and Myself think its far better overall here

I have been going to Cosmopolitan Dental for 10 + yrs, I have had nothing but good experiences. From regular cleanings, to difficult Dental work. They are the best!!

On Monday the 8th of April, my wife and I had our teeth cleaned. It was,by far, the worst experience we have ever encountered at a dentist. My wife's pains severe enough to need medication. I too had pain but tried to get past it. Irrigation water was causing us to choke on occasion, and at one point, ended up in our ears. The dentist may be very qualified, but her tech was not. We do not care to be contacted to make things "better", and as a result, will seek dental work elsewhere. When we have found another dentist, we will ask them to send for our records. As much as I was scared....... Dr. Ofori was very light handed and very Patient. 10 out of 10 recommend her and her staff. Thank you cosmopolitan dental for being amazing 🤩

Staff had no clue, they took the same x-ray three times before they got an acceptable one and the dentist had no time to explain anything. She spent more time asking me about my business than she did explaining my tooth. In fact she never explained my tooth at all, just said I needed a root canal and a crown, she never went over the x-ray with me or gave me any details of why it needed a root canal (i'm going for a second opinion and will up date the results here).....both staff and dentist were condescending, the dentist asked what kind of pain medication I wanted and when I didn't have a drug name on the tip of my tongue she said this was making her suspicious ....over all it was a very unpleasant experience...........After reading the Dental Office's comments. To say the least I am even more disappointed with the office. They are basically suggesting that I was only interested in getting pain meds.
This brings up several issues:
The first being that I was given 3 days of pain meds and my appointment for further treatment was scheduled for 12 day in the future....why would they be surprised that i would need more pain meds when the prescription was completely insufficient for the time frame of the scheduling. Rescheduling the appointment was not an option unless they were going to do the treatment on credit which they were not willing to do. I told the office staff that I had no insurance and would not have the $815. dollars for the first stage of the treatment until the next week and that I was checking to see if I could buy insurance before the treatment.
The second issue is with an initial visit cost of $125. it is ridiculous to think that anyone would go to this office solely for the purpose of getting pain meds.
I ended up getting help at an office in Las Vegas and the office visit was only $49. and they were able to do treatment the same day, and at a much better price, and without all the condescending attitude.
