Reno Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics

I was new to reno (3days). I called with a dental emergency and they were very concerned. The reception ladies confirmed they accepted the insurance. They got me in within a few hours. The staff was very warm and open. They took me back. The doc was very welcoming. He talked options and did explain everything. He made me very comfortable. It was the top two fillings i have got. I was very excited to hear about possible later hours in the future. Thank you for making my welcome to reno better. I highly recommend these guys.

The staff was awesome. They were able to squeeze us in for a same day appt for my little one. Definitely made a stressful situation into a major relief. Mucho mahaloz 🤙

Love this place. Staff is always so nice and willing to work with my crazy schedule for my husband myself and our 3 kids. Always gets us in when we need. Super great with my kids! I hadn't been to the dentist for years and felt no judgement from them at all.

For being the first dentist in a couple years , they’re great! Dr Smith is my doctor and he genuinely cares about your questions and concerns! The front desk was so nice and informative.

The whole team is very welcoming and go through every detail with you. Had an issue with another place yet Reno Smile Dentistry took the time to teach me instead of just telling me what I must get done. Their pricing is pretty sweet too.

Staff is always friendly and accommodating when I bring my troop of kids into the office. We go to this office for dental and ortho. Great communication, clean office . Nothing negative to report,

This office is great! Both front desk and all the doctors and assistants, they are all friendly and take good care of me. I have been afraid to go to the dentist since a previous dentist I went to a few years back created a giant hole in my tooth, but this office has made me feel comfortable going to the dentist again. :)

I was referred to Reno Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics by an already established patient. From the initial process of insurance verification to the final check out following my first appointment, the entire process was extremely smooth and easily understandable. When entering the waiting room, it was obvious they take the state COVID regulations seriously, and at no time did I feel unsafe. Dr. Joel Smith DDS was my dentist and will continue to be my dentist as long as he is practicing in the local area. Dr. Smith’s demeanor was professional but also relatable. He is extremely empathetic, and the type of doctor you feel comfortable talking to candidly. From the recommendations he gave regarding my dental treatment, it was clear he is well-versed and knowledgeable with current treatment modalities, but also proficient in traditional treatment options. The difference between Dr. Smith and my previous providers is when he looked in my mouth, he did not see dollar signs, and therefore designed a treatment plan that was specific for my life and current needs. When the day comes that I will need any type of dental work, I will have absolute confidence in his abilities. If anyone is looking for a dental office that is user friendly as well as comfortable, I recommend Reno Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics, and if anyone is looking for a dentist that is down to earth but also extremely capable, I highly recommend Dr. Joel Smith DDS.

Made an appointment asked for time off drive to the office only to be told that the doctor cannot see me because I don’t have some report ready. I asked why was I not informed when making the appointment, the front desk blame their call center for it, and said “you didn’t speak with anyone in the office”. I guess the call center put that phone number on their website!

Rude staff, does not care about patients time. I would not recommend this place.

The best staffs in Reno. Everyone here is very nice. I have been here so many years. And anytime I was here , I always left the door very happy.
