I went in for a cleaning in October and everything was fine. Dr. Ruckert talked me into coming back to get some work done. Big mistake. He did an awful job. As a result, my tooth broke twice in a matter of a couple days. They sent me to the Saratoga office to get it fixed. The Saratoga office then proceeded to be extremely rude and shady.
Because of how awful they were, I ended up leaving their office without them completing the work and had to go to a different practice altogether to have it fixed.
Please save yourself the trouble and don’t even try any of the offices for this company.

I rarely if ever do this. But it's been months of me trying to get things straightened out and I'm still receiving billing that's accumulating interest coupled with no communication whatsoever to rectify the situation from the office.
It all started when I called up to make the first appointment after calling my insurance and asking for a list of nearby dentists that accept my coverage. At that time I lived right down the street so it seemed perfect. When I initially called up I gave them my insurance information ahead of time (I used to work in a doctor's office and know how helpful that is). At my first appointment they took my insurance information and told me that it would be mostly covered since they deal with a lot of the same type and I should be receiving a bill in the month.
Fast forward to the next appointment two weeks later, they told me that they needed another copy of my insurance card. I thought they were needing to update their files since I was becoming a regular client. Fast forward to another two weeks and another appointment. I asked about the billing and they told me that they're still working on it and either way it shouldn't be a lot of money as my insurance should cover most of it but once again asked me for a copy of my insurance. Now another two weeks later and another appointment went by and I still haven't gotten any billing. However I did get multiple phone calls with them asking me for my insurance information again and social security number. All the while they were assuring me this is getting handled and taken care of. This is all over the course of a few months now and I decided to stop making appointments as I haven't received any billing. Eventually I did receive the bill and was told that my insurance wasn't accepted. When I was told this I asked, "Well what happened when I initially gave you my insurance and you told me you did take it?" They told me they fired their billing person because she was not doing her job properly and wasn't a right fit. OK.. but then why should I have to be punished for her negligence? I was told they would be reviewing this further and the office manager would call me back. They never did. Recently I called back once again to see what was the outcome of the review and was told that they would once again call me back after reviewing it. Still no call. Now I am writing this as I am staring at my newest bill which is accumulating interest still and obviously hasn't been taken care of. Evidently communication and management is greatly lacking with this this establishment.
In good news I recently started attending a new dentist. I did the same procedure where I called ahead of time to give them my insurance information to make sure it was solidified before my first appointment. Guess what? After my appointment I knew exactly how much was owed and how much my insurance covered. So apparently this can be handled the correct way when you have a proper staff doing the right job.
I would never recommend this place to anybody for their appointments. Which is unfortunate because the dentist himself was great. I'm also not looking to not pay for any appointments. It's the principle of them not doing their jobs and punishing me for it thus leaving me with this huge bill and expecting me to pay that all at once.
Very unprofessional. There's better out there and I'm glad I found it before I lost hope in attending a good Dentist in the area.

My previous dentist was a train wreck. Always in a hurry. In trying a root canal he broke the tooth leading to an extraction. Then two cavities were temp filled, when I asked why, he said he didn’t have time. The temps lasted 1 week. His next 15 minute fix lasted 3 weeks. So I switch dentists to here. Dr Fisher has repaired my temps and even took her time when they didn’t hold.
I’m impressed at the customer service here. Within a month I had my temps fixed, a cleaning, and a repair to an old filling that gave out. They have answered all my questions and I don’t feel like a number. I also appreciate the extra care they took to get me back on track.
My friends tell me about the nightmares they have, i’m Glad to say I found a great dentist.

I've been going here for several years and have always had a great experience. Today, the new hygienist, Victoria, moved here from my hometown! She was super sweet and did a great job cleaning my teeth! Thank you again Victoria!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!
UNPROFESSIONAL, GREEDY, RUDE!
A few months ago, I went in as a new patient. The Dentist, I believe his name was Dr.Ruker was very pushy when it came to cosmetic work and needing a crown. That was my first red flag.
My second red flag was when I came back to the office to get some work done, I sat in the chair waiting for the dr to come in, and when he did he was speaking with his assistant about firing one of the other employees. And laughing about it. I was just absolutely floored by that behavior from a DOCTOR. They proceeded to ignore me and act like I wasn’t even there as they gossiped and spoke poorly about that employee (based on what I experienced there as a customer, I’m sure that employee is way better off not working for this company... if they treat customers this poorly I can’t imagine how the staff is treated)
The absolute last straw for me was the other day, I was diagnosed by my primary care physician with a sickness and they recommended I did not go in for my dental appointment which was for the following day, because it is contagious. I called to cancel my appointment and the woman I spoke with on the phone was extremely rude and told me I would be charged $60+ because I was not canceling within the 24 hour time frame, mind you, I had just left my physicians office moments before. I explained my condition and the woman was very rude and not understanding whatsoever.
I will be going elsewhere. And you should too.
Based on other reviews I’ve seen, it looks like many others have had similar experiences with this doctors poor care.
IM APPALLED.

I came to this dentist because I had had a bad experience with the one I was going to. I'm not the best Dental patient ever, because I hate the noise and stuff, but they were awesome and patient with me. Shannon helped find me an office which suited my home/work balance. She and all the staff were extremely pleasant and friendly, and it would even appear to be a good place to work. They quickly identified the problem, and found a few more which they visually pointed out to me with pictures. They got me in quick after I called, and it appears that their appointments and their office hours are also conducive to a work/home balance. I will have to go back and have additional work done, but they already calculated an approximate amount that I would owe on my next visit after my insurance. I didn't feel rushed and nobody dismissed me as being silly.... I guess i've found a new dentist. 😁
update-So, I broke a tooth, which was on the schedule to get filled with a possible crown. I delayed. It wasn't painful at first, but i kept catching my tongue in the hole and it would slice my tongue-which was painful. I called the office, and my new favorite dentist-Dr. Ruckert wasn't in, so I had to see Dr. Selgado. Dr. S as he asked to be called. I wasn't too impressed. He seemed to be caring, but totally wrote my tooth off as a root canal and crown. He said there's no way he'd be able to clean it up and drill for a filling without it needing a root canal and crown, to do anything otherwise would cause me pain and discomfort. When I asked him if he could give me any idea how long my tooth could hold out while I decided its fate (because I currently am not in a financial position to do this kind of work) he said, the letters after my name are DDS no GOD. Dude, you have the xrays, and your expertise that allegedly go with that DDS at the end of your name. I explained I wasn't looking for an exact date, but I can't see it. I can't tell how bad it is, so telling me a week or so, would've even made me happy, but that DDS/GOD thing made me think his letters should be EGO after his name. Even the assistant urged me to see my regular dentist(which I already planned to). Today, I saw Dr Ruckert, and right now I feel like HE should accept the GOD at the end of his name....So far so good. I have a filling, and he filled another one-and so far, it feels fine. No pain like was suggested by Dr S. My gums are a bit sore, but otherwise I am doing fine. no hot/cold sensitivity.
Thanks Dr. Ruckert..... you did an excellent job. I realize it may not hold, because of the damage that was there, but this certainly buys me some time and is so far....pain free. My tongue thanks you too!!! :)
