This office is the best! I always have a pleasant experience from the minute I step into the office with the staff’s positive attitude and care that I receive. They are always prompt with appointment times, find time for me when I need a last minute appointment, and are very thorough. I am not a huge fan of going to the dentist, but Ira makes me feel completely comfortable and at ease. With the new adjustment to Covid, I feel super safe going into the office with the safety precautions that they are currently taking. I can always trust that I am in good hands when going in for an appointment!

I recently cracked a tooth and was leaving the country in two days. Dr Handschuh saw me the next morning and set my mouth (and my mind) at ease with his great skill, wonderful bedside manner and caring staff. It has been a pleasure to be a patient in his office—something I never thought I’d say about being in a dentist’s chair! Thank you Dr. Handschuh for amazing care, and incredible follow-up on my dental emergency. I will continue to go for routine checkups as I have been a patient of yours for the past 6 years, but I rest easier knowing you are there for your patients whenever a need arises.

I don't believe you can find a kinder or more gentle dentist than Dr. Handschuh. I had many bad experiences in the past and feared going to the dentist. Dr. Handschuh has been my dentist for the past 17 years and has performed extensive work on me. He has transformed my discolored, uneven teeth into a beautiful smile with the use of veneers. He made sure I never felt any pain. If I ever had a problem he made himself available as soon as possible. I totally trust Dr Handschuh. Also, his staff is very warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Dr. Handschuh.

I have been seeing Dr.Handschuh for several years now and I continue to have a great overall experience every time I go. One thing that stands out to me is how thorough Dr.Handschuh is with his work and his cleanings. There is constant communication between us including X-Rays and any future problems that he foresees. From my experience, he is extremely reliable and only has the best interest of his patients.
On top of Dr.Handschuh, I appreciate The Dental Design Center in Westchester having a very welcoming staff along with top of the line equipment. The Dental Design Center is always accomadting, whether it is with appointment changes or availability in their schedule.

I was so happy when a co-worker referred me to Ira Handschuh, after my dentist retired. I was in a period of challenge with my teeth and wanted to find a dentist that would make improving them a positive experience. On my first visit, I discovered that I had found a dentist, which I actually enjoyed going to! I had a very good dentist in the past, but through my experiences with Dr. Handschuh, I realized he takes dentistry to a new level. I don't think I'd ever experienced that dental work could be such a proactive, conscious process of working toward health goals.
When I arrived for my first cleaning, I was surprised to learn that Dr. Handschuh does that himself, as a way of gaining more knowledge about his patients' teeth. Every procedure I've experienced with him has had the quality of custom care and focused ease that made the process relaxed and positive. His guidance in my decisions for my teeth has been so helpful, I feel very fortunate to have found him.
