As a new patient, charging my 100% of my bill even though I have dental insurance. Why would they not tell me before hand, that nothing would be covered? I would have went elsewhere immediately. I am now in an extremely bad situation financially given covid and the holidays, with this bill I just recieved.. If they would have told me before, I would have NEVER gotten anything done here. Very upset with this company and the way they handle business, especially with new customers that are clueless with the Healthcare system.. Disappointed..

Dr. Dan and his staff make going to the dentist an enjoyable experience! If my insurance would cover it, I'd go four times a year instead of just two. My hygienist obviously does a great job cleaning my teeth because in the 18+ years I've been going to Mengedoth Dental, Dr. Dan has only had to do one small filling. The focus seems to be on health & prevention vs. constant work being necessary.
The only negative thing I can point out is that they offer cookies & cream polish flavor, which is just plain wrong for a tooth polish. I've always loved cookies & cream ice cream, but at the dentist...for a tooth polish flavor? Just plain wrong... I'll take the mint, please!
I wouldn't hesitate to refer my friends, family, and associates to Mengedoth Dental.

Yes, I am related and yes, I am also an employee at Mengedoth Dental... BUT I have been a patient of Dr Dan's even before he was a doctor! I was lucky enough to be his patient for his dental board exams and I immediately determined way back then there was no way any other dentist was going to compare. You would think a big brother might look forward to inflicting a little discomfort on his sister, but not this guy! His compassionate care and determination to provide the very best treatment for each individual patient is part of the reason why I was honored when he asked me to become part of his team - I mean who wouldn't want a boss like that?!? *smile* Each member of the Mengedoth Dental Team (Hygiene, Assisting & Administration) emulate these attributes and elevated standards, as well.
