Highly recommend choosing somewhere else-would give 0 stars if I could. Worth the read.
I had a large portion of my back molar break off and was taking 8 ibuprofen a day to deal with pain. I wanted it pulled and was told the problem would not be addressed until the wisdom teeth were out so I scheduled that, two months out, and waited. In the meantime, I came in with a suggestion to use the wisdom tooth to replace the molar OR remove the molar at the same time and was questioned by the SAME dentist as to why I had prioritized the wisdom teeth over this problem tooth. There’s red flag 1.
I scheduled a root canal/crown path from there and waited.
The day of the root canal something felt wrong and I asked to go through cost again.
After draining my insurance (1000) and HSA (2000) the root canal was 1500 out of pocket. They told me this would be phase one and phase two would be completed by an endodontist who would bill me separately for a root canal. So this charge x2. This was not clarified when I set up the root canal. They never clarified that this dentist was not going to be able to complete phase 2 and left me under the impression it would all be handled at this office. Red flag 2.
They also let me know there was a possibility that I could get to the specialist and they might decide the tooth isn’t worth saving. Red flag 3.
They were eager to get through this first part and kept saying the medication would alleviate my pain, I’m too young to be missing a tooth, it could cause serious issues in the future, my other teeth would fall out, our best path is to save the tooth etc.
I bailed on the appointment and went to an endodontist as I wanted this tooth pulled the whole time.
3 minutes and one look from the endodontist later and he told me the tooth could not be saved by a root canal and needed to be pulled.
Had the dentist made sure of this prior to setting up these procedures and attempting to rob me, maybe I would’ve respected him a bit more but surely would not have stayed at this office after my experience. Don’t get me wrong, everyone was very nice, polite and professional and the office was clean and modern but like… cmon 😂
Beware! Sometimes the first suggested route is not the best for your long term dental heath OR financial health.

Chad Achatz, and staff are absolutely wonderful. I was greeted warmly and received awesome care. It was my first exam in many years and the entire staff was so polite and calming, they explained the insurance process and costs associated with my exam and answered my many questions. Glad I found my new dental office.

This place is the best. The staff is awesome, work great together. Dr Tran is the best dentist I have seen. I am also lucky to have been a patient of Dr Tran while he was in dental school. So I had to follow him to his new practice location. Dr. Tran is gentle ,caring, understanding of fears.
