My experience with Bend Family Dentistry has been exceptional! All of the staff is very professional and accommodating. Hygienist Kali makes you feel comfortable and Dr. Miller is extremely thorough. Best dental care, hands down!

We have been patients of Dr. Hester since 2009, referred to us by our previous dentist/oral surgeon in Salinas CA...upon learning we were relocating to Central Oregon. Bend Family Dentistry has consistently provided us 'quality care, compassionate and thoughtful attentiveness', and a 'genuine willingness' to be proactive in all phases of dental hygiene. From having our teeth cleaned regularly by Tianna & Shanna, to the various implants, crowns, bonding and other procedures to keep our teeth 'HEALTHY' and looking good...WE THANK YOU Dr. Hester, for your presence in Central Oregon, and for all the operational & administrative staff who have assisted you...for many years!!

Great hygiene appointment today with Shanna! Comfortable, thorough, professional, and she is so personable too! Every staff member I encountered was pleasant and efficient. As a retired hygienist of 45 years I highly recommend this office and Shanna!

Absolutely horrible! They told me I needed about $3500’ worth of work. They even sent me to a specialist because they told me I had a abscess in my tooth, $150 later the specialist said there was no problem it was a shadow from the X-ray. Cut to in the future I found an amazing dentist at Alpenglow and had my teeth fixed for $500. Bend dental lies and only tried to obtain money and the worst dental experience I have ever had! Stay away at all cost! They only want your money! Scam artists at best! Do at waste your money here!

Bend family dentistry is by far the best dental office I have ever Been to. The staff is friendly and helpful, they don't hesitate to answer any of your questions, and they explain each procedure step by step so that you feel comfortable with what's happening.I'm actually looking forward to going back to the dentist for the first time in my life. I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars. I started off today with an X-Ray, Cleaning, and general preventative care for my teeth after not having been to a dentist for approximately 2 years. The cleaning experience was amazing, with a very comfortable environment, and an extremely friendly hygienist, Tianna. Tianna had my teeth feeling the cleanest they have ever been. I had my first Doctor visit with Dr. Grady. She was extremely friendly and answered every question I had for her regarding an unfortunate cavity which she discovered on my X-Ray. Luckily enough, I was able to get a SAME-DAY appointment scheduled to get it taken care of. My cavity appointment began with Chrisie, one of the fantastic Dental Assistants in the office. Chrisie could tell I was very nervous (though i'd never admit it, no matter what she tells you...) about this filling and honestly everything she said and did made me very comfortable. Chrisie used this numbing gel on the side where my cavity was and assured me I wouldn't feel a thing. At this point, I met Dr. Van Volkenburg (Dr. Haley is what she prefers). Dr Haley could also tell I was super nervous about this small little filling but assured me I was in control and if I felt any discomfort at all or needed a break to say something, wave, or just make a noise and she would stop. Needless to say, I DID NOT FEEL A THING. Dr. Haley is seriously skilled at what she does. The numbing injection was unbelievably well-placed and throughout the entire cavity drilling, smoothing, filling, and polishing I did not have any form of discomfort. At the end, Dr. Haley ensured everything felt normal with my teeth, ensured no high-spots were able to be discerned, and all was well and good in the world. Do not hesitate about choosing Bend Family Dentistry for any of your dental needs. They are all absolutely amazing. You honestly feel like family here.

Shelley is profoundly courteous, conscientious, professional and kind. She was focused on my comfort throughout the cleaning process. She did a wonderful job.
I can’t think of anything that Dr. Hester could do to be a better dentist. He instills confidence and trust in every interaction.
The staff is at Bend Family Dentistry is always outstanding, and I could not be more satisfied.

Very thorough and positive experience. The office staff, hygienist, and dentist were all excellent to work with. It’s very clear why this office is the highest rated office in the area. We even had some ongoing scheduling issues To work through and Cyndee and Laurie went more than the extra mile to accommodate me and correct any confusion. April was awesome as my hygienist. I’m happy to have found a reliable practice to come to in the area for as long as I live here. Thank you ALL!
