Cornell Dental

My first visit to Cornell Dental in Hillsboro, Oregon was for a routine cleaning, which was done by Alicia. She was quick and gentle going about things, and prepared me for each step to come. Her technique was smooth and moderate, we had a few laughs and her results stood well with past work elsewhere. Dr. Adams reviewed his exam with me, and we scheduled for some basic follow up work (a replacement filling) and he referred me to a periodontist for a bone loss evaluation around my lower front teeth. All in all, I felt the office modern and well run. Everyone was smiling beneath their masks! I am seeing Dr. Adams again this week for that filling.

So, Dr. Carl Christiansen has been my dentist for many years at Gentech, but recently moved to Cornell Dental. I am so relieved. I love Dr. C, but Gentech sold to another company and since then they went down hill. Now Dr. C moved and I’m thrilled! I’ve always loved his super chill, down to earth demeanor and his ability to get my kids to relax and do their dental work. It doesn’t hurt that He’s pretty easy on the eyes too. Hee hee. I always recommend him to my friends and family, and everyone of them has thanked me. I’ve never worked with Dr. Adam’s, but if he’s as amazing at Dr. C, then, yes please! Try him out, you won’t be sorry.

I have been with the same dentist for 20 years, when he retired and I moved to Oregon I was extremely apprehensive about trying a new dentist! My sister-in-law highly recommended her dentist Dr Anthony Adam’s and his highly professional team. I was relaxed just by the kind greeting I received at the front desk, and the quick and painless complete exam and cleaning they gave me. Everyone was so kind! I had a serious tooth problem and Dr Adams and I discussed the many options and came to a solution based on what is important to me. I am a customer for life!

I had a great experience for my first visit at Cornell Dental. All the staff was polite, professional and knowledgeable. They were happy to take the time to answer all my questions and made the switch to a new dentist very smooth. Definitely recommend!

This was our first visit since Dr. Adams took over the practice from Dr. Kovanda. Dr Adams was very professional and considerate. Also our dental hygienist was helpful and thorough.

We were however, disappointed with the way our appointment was confirmed. We had set up our appointment a couple of months ago. A week before the appointment we received a call that the appointment needed to be canceled and at least 3 months delayed because we were on Meficare.. After we explained that we would continue to pay "out of pocket" and not use Medicare as we did when we were under the care of Dr. Kovanda the appointment was confirmed.
Also when my wife entered the office she asked if the staff had been vaccinated. The receptionist answered that she did not know and that the State of Oregon did not mandate it.
We believe that this is a very low bar. Without getting political we expect that when we are under your care, that everything will be done to see that no harm will happen to your clients including that the staff wear masks (which they did), but also get vaccinated whenever possible. The office staff and Dr. Adams were very apologetic about how the scheduling was handled.

The best staff all the way around! I always feel like I’m visiting with my extended family when I come in for my check up/cleaning. Dr. Anthony Adams is professional, knowledgeable, down to earth and personable - the best combination! I’ve been coming here for years and will continue to do so.

My whole family including my 90-year-old parents have been going to Cornell Dental for some 15 years. When Dr. Adams and his team took over 5 months ago, they gave us/my family the same excellent dental and personal care that we had received from Dr. Kovanda and team who we had grown to love. Thank you Dr. Adams and team for continuing the great Cornell Dental tradition we have come to know‼️😃

I have really enjoyed my experience with Cornell Dental. They are all so friendly and professional . I highly recommend them.

I went in for a few fillings this morning, and I tend to have high anxiety when going to the dentist, but I cannot express enough how comfortable Dr. Rob made me feel. He listened to me when I first expressed my anxiousness, and did his best to assure me he would do a great job. He constantly checked in on how I was doing and was very gentle the entire time. He made it a quick and painless process, and eased my nerves. I was sitting completely still in the chair by the end of it, and had no problems! The end result is great, he did an amazing job! Thank you again, Dr. Rob!

Great experience. Very friendly staff and Dr. Adams took the time to get to know me and my dental history. Easy and positive experience all around.
