Never received a call or text or email about my appointment or my daughters appointment being cancelled after waiting 3 months for an appointment .

Great Service and Professional Staff! It is a shame I can’t give more then 5 Stars. Very clean facility. They take their time and throughly explain every procedure. I recommend them to anyone.

Everyone in that whole building is so friendly and welcoming. My hygienist is the absolute best, she’s so caring and considerate. Love it here.

Dr.Sohal and Courtney are really helpful and make you feel truly comfortable during your experience at the dental office ..I am grateful to have them around knowing everything will be taken care of and that my oral health is in good hands. Good hospitality. The doctors are patient with answering all the questions we have. They take the time to explain in detail about all the problems we have. I feel comfortable and satisfied after my visit l.

Unfortunately our dental insurance provider changed, so we had to leave the dental practice we were very happy with last year. My husband came across Dental Care of Harrisburg, and he was pleased with the fact that they offer some evening hours. So, we went in to schedule appointments.

We were seen for the first time in January (6 months from our last appt). My husband has perfect teeth, and there were no problems found during his visit. I have always had pretty good teeth (one cavity when I was 9yo), but two pregnancies did cause some small issues. Unfortunately, during this visit, it was determined that I had a cavity.

The dentist came in to do the exam and discuss having the cavity filled. Then, he tells me that I need a crown as well and ASAP. He is telling me if I don't have this crown within the next few weeks, then I'm headed towards a root canal. Seriously? This cavity has only shown up in the last six months. He finished up the exam and sent in a girl to discuss the scheduling and pricing for the filling and crown. Since my husband and I have never had issues with our teeth in the past, we had the most basic of dental plans. Needless to say, a crown isn't covered under my plan. I went ahead and scheduled a date to go back and have the cavity filled in early February.

Jump ahead to the February. I go in to have the cavity filled. The dentist is still pushing hard for the crown and using the scare tactic of "an imminent root canal" if I don't get it. Again, I tell him that I don't have $1000 just laying around at the moment. The filling is just going to have to work for the time being. So, two days after the filling, a girl from the front desk calls to see how I'm doing. I tell her everything feels fine and thanks for checking in. But before she hangs up, she has to ask "Are you ready to schedule the appointment for your crown?". Seriously?? I just told you people two days ago that I'm not interested because of financial reasons. This was when I really began to see them for what they are...a money hungry dental chain.

For the next three months, I continue to get a call once monthly from them asking if I'm ready to get the crown. Finally, in mid-May, I stopped being friendly about it. I told the girl that I absolutely was not interested in getting the crown, and she replied "Well, are you planning on continuing to use this practice?". I took this as her giving me an ultimatum. If I don't get this crown, they're going to stop seeing me as a patient. I told her "no" and hung up. When I had cooled off a day or so later, I called back and canceled all future appointments for myself and my 3 year old.

That brings me to my visit at my new practice yesterday. I found another dental office in the area that has been practicing for 30+ years. The dentist came in to do my exam and immediately told me that I in no way needed a crown. I'm so glad I got a second opinion and didn't give in to the scare tactics of Dental Care of Harrisburg.

Very nice staff and attentive to patient concerns! Loved the hygienist and dentist. I would recommend practice to family and friends.

This place has terrible people skills..They do not sit and talk to you or explain anything or even help you in anyway..They lie by telling you one thing and doing another..Make you wait for services..I would say if you thinking of going to this dentist run..And run fast..Cause once they touch you no other dentist will..This place has a bad rep with other dental offices in the area..This place just does not care about you unless you have lots of money then you can get the dentist to talk to you..Other wise his snobby assistant does it for a minute..The secretary should be the dentist she is the only one with people skills and at least talks to you
