Dr. Pillar is the best dentist I have ever had. She explains why my teeth have the problems they do and she explains all of my options. She told me what she would do if it were her and why. I have never had a dentist take so much time to explain everything. Brooklyn also explains what she is doing and is so gentle. She makes it very easy to be relaxed and not worry if the cleaning is going to hurt or not. My son made me promise we would never switch dentists again, because they are so nice. They also work around our schedule. My son had to change his appointment, but it was very easy to do. We were still able to get a day that worked for him. Cheryl helped me find a day before school started and worked it around his schedule. I have never been so pleased working with a dentist office. Dr Pillar is not on my network for our insurance, but they still bill our insurance and do not charge us any extra. I would highly recommend Pillar Dental.

Pillar Dental provides excellent care for the Sioux Falls area. Our family all go there - ages 4 through adult. The staff is very friendly. When we have had dental emergencies they have fit us into the schedule quickly and helped us find relief. Would absolutely recommend Pillar Dental.

My wife worked for a great dentist for 12 years until his retirement, so we know a bit about good dentistry, and I can assure you that this practice is excellent. They are very friendly, professional, personable, and Dr. Pillar is a third generation dentist who challenges herself to continue the stellar reputation her grandfather and father created. Best dentist I’ve been to. Both Dr. Pillar and Dr. Palmer are very experienced and provide really good state of the art care. Their new facility is very clean, nice, and welcoming. All the staff are nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend.

Me and my husband both go to pillar dental and we love them! I especially love the receptionist Sheryl (I hope I'm spelling it right) she always is so friendly and remembers us! We do sedation dentistry there and the care before and after my husband's appointment is amazing!
They always are gentle and efficient while doing cleanings and filling cavities. If I'm ever uncomfortable they pause to make adjustments. They make going to the dentist a pleasant experience!

Our 8-year-old daughter chipped off her filling placed a year ago after she chipped a permanent tooth at school. The clinic was able to fit us in that day even during the pandemic since it was so sensitive. Dr Pillar did a great job making it easy and not scary for her and Brittni is amazing! Of course Cheryl at the front desk has a warm welcome and cleaned everything off as we left to keep our community safe. Thank you Pillar Dental team!

Everyone in the office is so friendly and you can tell they really care about your oral health. From the moment you walk in, the receptionist will greet you with a big smile and make you feel welcome and at ease. The hygienist is gentle but very efficient. I have never had a better teeth cleaning than I have with her, she really takes the time to make sure your teeth are pearly white and nice and clean before you leave. Dr. Pillar is also a joy to see. She is very knowledgeable and will always make sure you are comfortable and understand any procedure. You can tell she really enjoys what she does and invests into her clinic with state of the art dental machines, all with the patients comfort and ease in mind. I would highly recommend Pillar dental, in fact, I do all the time. I started coming to this clinic from a referral from a coworker, now nearly our whole office trusts their oral health with Pillar dental.

I've been going to Pillar Dental for a few years now. I'm always greeted warmly, and my appointment time is always prompt. My hygienist works fast and does a great job. They use the latest technology and have been honest with me about treatment needs. They don't pressure you into un-needed work and keep you updated on what's going on in your mouth. The gals here are fantastic! Dr. Pillar has been doing our cleanings and proceedures since we moved to SD 8 years ago. When we first started seeing her, she was completing her Ortho endorsment. After seeing every orthodontist in town and working with her, we opted to have her do the ortho work for both our children. We avoided painful surgury options and pulling teeth because she was open to our concerns and she provided an excellent level of care. I highly recommend her and her team. Having 2 kids with braces, this team has become an extension of our family and I appreciate them. Cheryl is the best! Becky is amazing and my kids trust Brittini - you can't ask for anything more than that.
