Didcrimatrd against, the office manager is phenomenal! The doctor I had knew I had anxiety and her Dental assistant kept asking me can I take aspirin and ibuprofen, I finally told her that if she gave me that she would definitely have to shoot me in the leg with my epi-pen. Then she remembered that I have a latex allergy. She was not relaxing, welcoming and evrytime I told the doctor that it hurt at first she would say that it is pressure, I told her that the pain was shooting up my nose. Once she numbed me again she found out that the anesthetia was wearing off as she dug into my mouth. Only to find out that she spent so much time manually drilling and digging was because of infection. Now her and her dental assistant continued rolling their eyes at one another because I have high tolerance for pain and the anesthetic was wearing off. They sent me home with no pain meds because I couldn't take what they wanted to give. So she said Over the counter Tylenol. š¤ Now if she wasn't no profiling me because my body and immune system is sensitive then what is it called? Only for her office manager to have to talk her into giving me 6 meds that I could take. I expect the discrimation from non melanin, but I am truly disturbed because I'm still in pain!!!

I am very disappointed in this dentistry. I have random allergies and they did not give me written instructions on how to care for three extractions even after the numbing agent kept wearing off. This experience was not only the most horrible I beleive I ever experienced, but it was also stereotypical. They sent me home with nothing because I cannot take aspirin or codeine. Had to call in to get pain meds and received 6 for three extractions. I only support African american doctors when I can, even my therapist is black. So, as for care and miscommunication that they said we had. I paid my fee for the work they performed, and am glad that I got these bad teeth out. Would not recommend them for anyone who has anxiety as well as allergies.

I went in with a coupon to get a "qualifying tooth" extracted for $150. I don't have dental insurance so I didn't want to spend over $200. They staff was very friendly. I was told that my filling had been compromised and it needed to be refilled for something like $396. I asked how much to get it pulled and it would be something like $278. Both were out of my price range. My coupon could not be used I assume it was because she said it would have to be surgically removed. I paid the $75 for the x-rays and left. I think the prices are too high but the people are friendly enough. Not sure if I will return after I get insurance. Felt like I could have been offered something more to address my tooth pain.

(Edited)I was shown extreme kindness and patience here at Dove. All of the staff is very friendly and they go above and beyond to ensure the comfort of all the patients, very kind. I don't prefer the dentist that did my fillings at dove, it's a bit rough and doesn't seem entirely filled. Also a bit too much filling that wasn't grinded down properly. But I'm sure they have plenty of other dentists. I'm not entirely satisfied with the dental work and probably won't be back. However everything else about dove is great. 5/5 stars for kindness, and attention to patients, very clean office.

This is by far the best dentist I have ever been too!!! I have a high anxiety when it comes to dentist and I explained all that and my gag reflex to them and they were so understanding. They got me in immediately for a very very bad tooth. Took care of all my pain. And actually had an awesome bedside manner and cared. I believe his name was Dr. Wright was absolutely my miracle from God today. I can close my mouth and am looking forward to eating a full meal this weekend. I am definitely coming back to restore my full smile. To everyone in that office THANK YOU!!!!!
