I waited a year before writing this review, because I have a horrible phobia of dentists and wanted to make sure my experience wasn't just because I was terrified. I have extremely sensitive teeth, and told the dentist right away. He started the cleaning, and I had to stop him halfway through because I was crying and in so much agony. I was told I had 6 cavities by the dentist. The admin then came in to make my appointment to have my cavities filled, and said I had 7 cavities. I was wary of the discrepancy, and did not make an appointment because I had a horrible vibe and experience.
Just yesterday, I went to a different dentist in Odessa to try again. They did xrays and examined my teeth, AND I HAVE ZERO CAVITIES.
Not only did Bliss do a horrible job catering to my needs and cleaning my teeth, but they tried to get me to have unnecessary work. I am shocked and horrified. I really hope people read this review, and get a second opinion before having any work done here. I could understand misreading an xray and seeing one cavity, but SEVEN? No way. That's corrupt and unethical.

Staff is great and knowledgeable, however the time spent at this office is ridiculous took 2 hours for a cleaning.

I would be very wary of going to Bliss Dental. The last time I went in for an appointment they told me I had 7 cavities and needed the deep cleaning. The dentist told me he would do a regular cleaning and left and never came back, instead the girl who figures the approximate cost of dental work came in and told me it was going to be over $2,000. I was not happy with the news, and I went to another dentist at a later date who said I did not have any cavities and did not need a deep cleaning that a regular cleaning was all I needed. I thought back to the first time I went to Bliss and they told me I had 4 cavities and did fillings. Now I wonder did I really have 4 cavities and the work was unwarranted???

The staff here is very nice. We have had no problems in getting in and out and getting our teeth fixed. They are very helpful in all my needs. Thanks a bunch!!!

The dentist was very professional. He did an exceptional job with my cleaning. The staff was very courteous & friendly.

What incompetence! My husband began experiencing sensitivity in a back tooth. We went to the dentist. They did x-rays and found nothing. He was referred to West Texas Endodontal for a CT scan. The Endodontist found a cavity in tooth #15. He said our choices were to have the cavity filled or pull the tooth. He leaned toward pulling the tooth and recommended that we see an oral surgeon. We called back to Bliss East and they said they had oral surgeons but would not be able to take care of this. Over Christmas we went to an oral surgeon in Tucson. The oral surgeon refused to pull the tooth stating that, "It could be easily filled." He also didn't know why we were there. We called Bliss and the phones were out for a week. I drove the hour to Odessa and they said their phones were out, but they were both on the phone. They pulled up the report from West Texas Endodontal and it was a report on a guy named Mark who needed a root canal in tooth #3. I finally got across to them that they had the wrong report. Finally they called West Texas Endodontal for their report. They said they'd have it by end of day. I asked how to contact them and they said that they could text me a number. I had to ask again because I was not leaving without that text number. The next day they called for the oral surgeon's number. Today, two days after being there, I text for an update. A woman called and said we needed to come back in for ANOTHER consultation. Frustration! "Why do we need another consultation? Do you realize he takes off work for every appointment?" She said they needed to talk to us and that they would probably have to refer us out. DONE. I MADE SURE THEY KNEW THEY WERE GETTING THIS REVIEW. RIDICULOUS! This has been going on since November 2019 and my husband still has a cavity.

I have always recommended people to go here, But today I will stop doing that. Starting from the doctor that does not care if hes hurting you even though you tell him! second they have people working there that do not know what they are doing. I went for a cleaning and came out with a hole in my gums. The girl they left me with to finish the cleaning was too lazy to floss my teeth with the actual floss string instead started flossing me with the Polish machine. When she was polishing me with that machine I kept telling her she kept scratching my gums and that it was hurting extremely bad. She stopped for a second and she said oh well they're really clean. My eyes were watery it hurt so much since she saw that she rinsed me and she's all like we are done.. do you feel them clean? I said no I can taste all the blood. She was like OK we're done.. I'll take you up to the front.. she did not care at all that I was hurting. I will never ever go there again I will not recommend this place I am very disappointed and I am extremely hurting!!!

Great staff. Very nice and patient with me. Did an extraction and Dr. Galloway did an excellent job.

This place should not be called bliss dental and orthodontics, not professional, no respect for people time or health, not clean at all including all employee tools and the whole place, no follow up with patients, not clear about the treatment plan cost or what they have to do for you, the reception employee inducing the manager everyone will tell you different things and lie to you about every little thing or big thing so smart in deceiving you, the last thing they care about is your health (They only care and trained on how to maximize the MONEY they want you to pay both ways from you and the insurance, like a saw eats wood forwards and backwards no matter what you try to do) most importantly is our health which they don't care about it by not following the dental health procedures No one of them other than they don't care to provide the best care of your teeth involving ignorance trying to finish the treatment in less time and getting the most they can from you and the insurance. They will take your money and the insurance money before even you are in the middle of any treatments (A lot to say on these big issues HEALTH, MONEY in which they are VERY BAD in HEALTH and your SAFETY on the other hand VERY GOOD in ribbing the MONEY. Honestly and Obviously you can tell that the 4.8 Stars Reviews they had came out from paying or giving DISCOUNTS To get this 4.8 . My only advice is for any patient wants to go there is to look at the place how nasty DIRTY it is and look at every employee there directly in the eyes and see how fake are they. Hope this review will save as many as people, and end up closing this HORRIBLE CLINIC hope for every patient and who ever have pain to be healed in the right place not at this WORST BLISS DENTAL.
