Kirby Smiles Dentist

Dr. Ilustre is the 3rd dentist I saw for the same small emergency. While my experiences with the other 2 dentists were pleasant, my time with Dr. Illustre was simply amazing. First the office looks right out of a HGTV magazine...super clean, contemporary, and feels like you're just lounging in your own living room. Secondly, the staff is super friendly. Last but def not the least, Dr. Illustre is one cool dude. Down to earth, personable, transparent and caring. I feel like my dental needs are being taken cared of by a family member and that is a great (almost priceless) feeling especially for someone like me who has recently relocated to Texas. Check these guys out. You won't regret it.

Netflix and dentist?! Yes please. You can watch TV on the ceiling while getting your teeth cleaned. Go see it to believe it. My family and I will be going to Kirby Smiles from now on. The staff was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. Dr. Hemann is excellent. I highly recommend.

If I could I would give each staff member a
10 Star rating. I was their patient at another Dental office and when I found out they opened their own practice, I didn't think twice to follow them for my families Dental care. They are very professional and their facilities are very clean. I love catching up with Dr. Hemann everytime I come in for my cleanings, but today I was seen by Dr. Ilustre and I have to say that he is as friendly and talkative as
Dr. Hemann. I highly recommend them for all your family and friends Dental care. Shout out to Brandy and the nice young lady at the front desk.

The good experience started right when I called for an appointment. I heard about KirbySmiles through a friend. I had lost a filling and they worked me into their schedule. When I arrived everyone from the front desk through to the staff who took x-rays and all my information were very professional, courteous and friendly. Dr. Ilustre went over each step and gave me all the options. He was very knowledgeable and personable. Dr. Ilustre also repaired another filling that I had received from another dentist over 10 years ago and had a chip out. Both look wonderful! He is gentle and patient, so, if you have a fear of getting dental work, this practice is for you. There prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Dr. Ilustre and the KirbySmiles practice!

Both Dr. Ilustre and Dr. Hemann's chair side manner is wonderfully comforting. The newly constructed office is beautifully decorated with encouraging words to uplift your spirit, the receptionist is kind and happy to assist patients/clients, and Gilda, an aspiring dentist herself, is the office dental assistant with lots of comforting charm. Dr. Hemann examined and cleaned my teeth all while I was watching Netflix overhead. If you are looking for a new dentist, you should schedule an appointment at Kirby Smiles. I am a real patient that had an appointment last week. Also, I usually do not write reviews, but knowing how important it is to have a comforting dentists, I decided to write a review. Lastly, they did not encourage unnecessary dental services or treatments...love that. Happy teeth cleaning!!

I just moved here from Oregon! I was referred to Dr. Joseph ILustre. Wow! Is all I can say over and over! From the warm greeting that I got the moment I walked in the office.. it truly felt like This is the place I was supposed to be and how a dentist office should be! First of all the place was absolutely gorgeous and immaculately clean inside! Everyone there was so kind and considerate for your every need! They did a great job at explaining things! A very relaxing environment. Refreshments and snacks available while you wait.. a beautiful little kid area in the waiting room as well. They were very high-tech and up-to-date on all of their equipment very impressive! The doctor was very personable I enjoyed getting to know him. The hygienist as well. They did a very thorough job. when I was finished I did not have any questions for they had answered everything for me already! A very relaxing experience I have never been that relaxed in my life at a dentist! I'm actually looking forward to going back in 6 months!😊 I highly recommend this dentist and the facility! You won't be disappointed!!

I moved to Houston 8 years ago and I have FINALLY found a dentist that I love!!!! Everything from atmosphere to actual dentist experience was amazing. From the moment you walk in, it doesn’t even feel like a doctor’s office, which is so comforting to me. During treatment, the staff is so in tune to the patient’s needs as well as cost conscientious. I no longer dread the dentist!! Excellent staff. Excellent quality of work.

Absolutely loved the environment at Kirby Smiles! From the moment you walk in the staff welcomes you with smiles and care. There is even a spot for your little one to play which was a big help since I always have my little one with me. The exam is quick and easy, Mrs. Ally does a wonderful job guiding you through everything and makes you feel right at home. I wouldn’t definitely recommend to anyone!!

This place is amazing!! I haven’t been to the dentist in an embarrassingly long amount of time (like 10 years oops) so I’ve been extremely nervous to go. My husband went and saw Dr. Ilustre and had a great experience so I figured I’d give him a shot and I am sooo glad I did!!! I walked out of my first appointment looking like a new woman!! The staff is so friendly and makes you feel so comfortable, and not to mention the office itself is so beautiful. I actually can’t wait for my next appointment lol. Seriously take yourself to Kirby Smiles you won’t regret it!!!

This is one of the best dental experiences I've ever had. The moment you walk in, you're met with beaming staff members and an expertly designed waiting room with decor and seating that makes you feel right at home. There's a small cutaway section made for small children (and vending machines with toys for younger patients inside the clinic!) which makes the office especially family friendly. Above each of the dental chairs is a TV that helps ease the anxiety of being at the dentist and keeps you distracted from what's going on in your mouth (Side note: I love a good Disney movie - Bolt was on while I was in the chair!).

My appointment was with Dr. Hemann and I'm nothing short of impressed by her professionalism and dental knowledge. She took the time to walk me through a proper treatment plan after I came in looking for a second opinion and she's clearly very empathetic and kind, always putting her patients and their well-being first.

One huge takeaway that I feel is a sign of great things to come for Kirby Smiles is Dr. Hemann's openness to educating her staff and her staff's willingness to learn. Her assistant Gilda was quick and unafraid to ask questions of Dr. Hemann during my visit and Dr. Hemann was very receptive to these teaching moments. That kind of curiosity from the top down and an open learning environment, coupled with the positive vibes I felt all around gives me the confidence to highly recommend Dr. Hemann and Kirby Smiles to anyone and everyone looking for a quality dental experience. I will definitely return!
